sharing food on free dining

When I called to make reservations I asked if it would be possible to share meals. The CM told me that if 4 people sat down to eat 4 TS meals would be charged. Has anyone been on the dining package and tried to share meals. I'm curious if this is true. If it isn't then I need to plan some more. As I mentioned in anther post, my children are grazers so one kids meal with the appetizer/entree/dessert is plenty for them to share.

Also I've read in several of the posts that you pay for the kid's meal to spread out the credits for adults. Do you think they are going to keep this policy thru the free dining period (we are going the first week in Oct).

I may need to rethink some of my plans since I really love to try new foods

The only meals that will charge exact # of people are the Buffets or all you can eat meals. O/w you can order 1 meal and share even at the counter services.

That would be hard to do, especially for us. We are going with a large group, some of the dining plan and others do not. Some will pay out of pocket and the other with credits. I'm sure we are not the only group to do this. We do not plan to do any buffets, except Trails End and all will pay out of pocket.
