Sharing DP with Toddler

I know that you cannot share your DP credits with someone who is not on your DP, however, I also saw that you can share food with a toddler under the age of 3. My husband & I would be traveling with our 2 yo and are thinking of doing the QS DP. If we are really hungry can we order 3 QS meals to share between the 3 of us or would be be limited to 2 QS meals at a time since there are only 2 paying people on our DP?

I dont know if they will "let" you order 3 at one time because there are only 2 on your DP. But alll you have to do is both go up, and one person order two meals, and the other order the third. We did that with our toddler, we just went up seperate and ordered the extra- there's no time in between that you have to wait.

I don't know how much your 2yo eats, but you should keep in mind that the counter service meals tend to be pretty big. My hubby and I both have healthy appetites (like, 4 trips to the buffet line is pretty normal for us at WDW), but I think even on our hungriest day we would be able to split 2 adult-sized meals between us and a toddler. If for whatever reason we just didn't think there was enough food to share, I have to think paying OOP for a child size meal for half the cost would be better than using a QS adult meal credit for a 2yo.

I agree about many of the CS meals being large enough to share. My DD is 12 now but she was 5 the first time we used it. It was my DM, myself, and DD. Many times we shared 2 meals between the three of us and it was plenty. There was even one time we shared the chicken and rib combo at Cosmic Rays between the 3 of us!

I also agree that I wouldn't use an Adult CS to buy a kid's meal at most locations. not a good use of an adult credit.
