Just returned from DDP week 8/13 thru 8/19. We had 3 families in two rooms, with overlapping stays, same person in two rooms at different times, with a toddler. It was a bit complicated.
Having the DDP was great, but there were a few heated "discussions"
the first couple days while everyone got up to speed as to which room card they were to use, when. No flaming please, WDW insisted we buy the plan for the person staying in two rooms twice, so it was all legal! Anyway, here is what I learned....
Sharing was never a problem! In all honesty we shared with the toddler and amongst the adults at CS with no problems.
Paying for anyone OOP was never an issue. The servers all did what we asked them to (put two TS meals on this card, and 3 on this card) with no questions asked (except at Raglan Road, which I'll post separately).
Also, since we had a couple of late dining reservations, a couple of times the toddler had already had his dinner and did not eat at all at our TS meal. Many times, I would buy a CS meal that I thought he would eat with his credits and brought it with us to a TS meal. No one ever said anything negative about doing this.
