I tried tacking this on to the end of another thread, but I guess it's really a separate topic, so I'll start a new thread...
Since my husband and I are both on the dining plan and would each be using one TS credit for our meals, would we be able to order one appetizer or dessert that is meant for two and share it? Or would there be no way for the restaurant to ring that up? We have an ADR for the Grand Floridian Cafe, and they have a chocolate fondue dessert that sounds heavenly
The menu says "great to share", so it kind of sounds like that's meant to be for 2 people, especially since the price is fairly high for dessert -- this site says it's 9.99 -- so I assume it's a pretty large portion. But the menu at AllEars lists it at 6.99, so I don't know if that's a serving for one? And all of their other desserts are listed as "mini" desserts for 2.39.
And 6 of the 8 appetizers listed on the menu here for Raglan Road say "for 2 people", so if we can't share one large appetizer, that seriously limits our choices.
If we couldn't order one to share on the plan, can we request them to prepare two half-size portions for one? And then they could put both half portions on the same plate, we wouldn't care
