Sharing a wine tasting

My daughter just turned 21 and is interested in joining us for a wine tasting. My mother, who for health reasons does not drink much, would like to join in as well. Would they be permitted to share?

I plan to ask at GS but I'm wondering if anyone has done this.

It can happen either way. Most of the time they will require everyone in attendance to pay. Sometimes, they will let some one "audit" the class.

They wouldn't let me audit the class when my husband wanted to do a whiskey tasting (and I hate whiskey!). We did compromise and do a cognac tasting (I think I will stick to wine/mixed drinks!), and we both paid for that, but for that one the venue was the Cove Cafe, and I really could have just sat in there while he was doing his class. However, I *have* had tastings in places like AP that were not open at the time, so there's no way that you could just "show up" and sit near by. The other option is that you pay for the teetotaler, and the other person just gets more to drink

Do you book these tastings before boarding the ship to reserve a spot or do you just show up?

you need to reserve a spot as soon as you get on board. you will need a ticket

We did champagne tasting on the Dream. My best friend was pregnant so she couldn't drink, but I didn't want to go alone. They let her tag along!

Book at Guest Services on the ship. Tastings should be listed in the Navigator that you get when you check in for the cruise.

In my experience, they haven't always listed all the classes in the Navigator for the whole cruise on the first day, but if you go to Guest Services, they will tell you the entire schedule.
