Shares/Annual Passport

Hi all,
sorry for being a pain but i need to make up my mind
It seems we have a job buying shares, i was not able to from my bank as it seems now you can't buy less than 1,000 euros shares in France and Brian my partner has had his application form sent back from Natwest as he doesnt live in the UK now (he had to send back a paper signed from the bank here in Italy even if he still has a Natwest account) so i have been thinking something different.
Could it be worth to book the Dream Castle and then to buy Annual Passports so we can have EMH and the discounts??
I have seen it is possible to buy AN online now so i wonder, if i want to go for Halloween (and have the 50% discount for the Halloween Night you get with AP) WHEN should i buy them??

Sorry to hear that you didn't manage to resolve the share issue.

There is no doubt that EMH on the Dream AP is attractive for those staying off-site, so this is worthy of exploration

Giulia, the Dream Castle hotel looks lovely and if you buy Dream APs you'd get EMH. That's what we do, we stay at the Explorers and use our Dream APs to get in for EMH. The Dream AP discounts are better for shopping than the shareholders, and although the AP table service discount isn't quite so good as the shareholders, you'll also get discount off counter service (which you don't with shareholders).

I'm thinking if you wanted to buy the Halloween party tickets you'd probably need your AP in your hand so will need to buy this in advance. As I think you need to activate it within 30 days I guess you can't do much before the end of September.

i have emailed to the Annual Passport Office in DLRP (i have written in English as i suppose they dont talk Italian ) but i have got no reply yet

And if i decide to get AP could it be possible to be sponsored from someone on this board even if you lot are not in Italy?

Do you know how much in advance i need to but the Halloween Night tickets? I have read they go on sale in Aug/Sept but are they sold out quickly ore not?

Just put up a request in the sponsor thread with when you are going and I'm sure someone will sort you out

I don't know how quicky they sell out. If it was me and it was really important that I went to the party then I would pay full price for the tickets to give me peace of mind that I had them, then buy my APs when I arrived at DLRP.

If you won't mind too much if you miss out on tickets for the party then you could always apply for the temporary AP by post and try for discounted tickets once you had received it.

Is this correct? Only I could have bought Halloween tickets when I booked our hotel for 31st October, however the CM could not offer me any discount on them, this might explain why!

I think i am going to ring and ask the DLRP call center this afternoon, i have sent an email to the Annual Passport Bureau (i have found the address on DLRP Magic) but got no reply

Elaine, yes is important for my kids to attend the party and so i am going to buy the tickets when possible even if full price

Sorry to confuse you, but no I haven't got tickets for the party yet. We have booked a night at the DLH on 31st October, and I enquired about the party. I was told I could buy tickets, but that they would not be discounted, so I would be paying full price for them i.e. £20 each.

I plan to enquire about buying discounted tickets when we renew our APs at Easter.
