Do shareholders without a dream pass qualify for EMH?

As far as I'm aware, its the ticket (or the hotel ID) which determines whether you are eligible for EMH. So you either have to have valid designated hotel ID or a Dream annual pass.

However, I'm not a shareholder, so I can't say for definite. I hope someone else can give you the definitive answer.

No only guests staying at a Disney hotel or holder of a Dream AP qualify for extra magic hours

AFAIK, EMH is not a shareholders club perk.

As DLPDaft says, my understanding is that you must either hold a valid AP, or a Park entry ticket issued from one of the Disney Hotels.

AFAIK regular tickets - either purchased at the gate, or issued as part of a package at a partner hotel are not valid for EMH.

Thanks guys, I kinda thought that was the case, but was hoping I was wrong. I was fine with it, as there was only one day of EMH over the period we will be there when we booked. But now they've gone and made every day in December EMH, I'm quietly seething (not that quietly actually).

Salon Mickey is open every day from 9am to 12 midday, even if the park normal opening hours aren't until 10am. According to the regulations, you can request immediate access to the park, once your tickets have been verified by the CM on duty. Not sure how the rules would be applied, but that might mean you can get in to the park through Salon Mickey one hour earlier, or they might make you wait until the official opening time if you don't qualify for EMHs.

Even if they did let you in to the parks this way you would still be confined to Main Street. You need to show the Disney hotel ID or Dream AP to get into Fantasyland or Discoveryland before official rope-drop.
