I am sharing a memory maker with my cousin who is going the same time as us. I have been able to share it with her but do not see her family members. When she gets photos done will she be the only one to use her magic band for them or can her family use them as well.
Thanks so much!
I am going to be part of a MM share for the first time in a few months and I was in the exact same confusion boat as you so I did a bit of research. As it stands now, you (the MM owner) probably see only your cousin on your Friends list so you're worried about whether her family members will be able to get their PP pictures onto your MM account when they are using their MBs to tag those pictures. The consensus from forum responses seem to be "absolutely", but like you, I wanted the added assurance of something which would definitely say "hey, my cousin's family members are indeed linked to my MM account."
So what I would suggest, if you have the time and desire, is to go ahead and add every one of your cousin's family members to your account so they are showing up on YOUR friends list by name. That way, you have the added assurance that they are truly linked to your
MDE (and therefore, MM) account. Since your cousin is already on your friends list (if I am reading it correctly by the fact that you said that you "have been able to share it with her") please go into your Friends and Family list on your MDE account and click "+ Add a Guest". Then choose "From a list of people I may know." Now since your cousin is already on your friends list, everyone who is on HER F&F list should show up on the list that appears on the screen. Then just click and select all her family members that you want to add for the MM share. If the person you want to add has their own email MDE account, then they will get the invite to join your F&F list via an email and on their MDE account. If they do not have their own MDE account - like if they are just people your cousin has added for her trip but they are "fully managed" by your cousin (for example, her minor child) - then your cousin's MDE account and email will get the invite and she can accept the invitation to join your F&F list from her MDE account on their behalf. Then, you will show up on each of these people's friend's list and each of their account would need to make sure to edit the options for you on their Friends list so that you/your account can "view So-and-So's PhotoPass Photos".
Now, no doubt just by your cousin being your "Friend" already - and as all other posters have stated - her family members are probably already linked to your account for the purpose of getting their MB-tapped PP photos onto your MM account. BUT, while these steps for adding them may be time-consuming, I personally like having the physical "proof" of having them each listed individually on the Friends and Family list as added assurance that the MM account would be able to truly access their PP photos. Afterwards, you can always delete them all off your friends list and add them again should you be on a future trip close enough to take advantage of a MM share.
