Shared Busses?

Well, not even sure if this is the right place for it, but it does pertain to Disney resorts.

I was at Port Orleans French Quarter July 13th and noticed the FQ shares a bus with all of the depots at Riverside. At times it was QUITE packed. Do they still do this during the peak summer hours? It wasn't that bad because FQ was first, but it was pretty crowded. You'd think they'd run two busses :confused3

POFQ and POR generally share a bus when leaving the resorts. although it depends on how full the buses get. when the bus picks up at POFQ, if it gets loaded, it will skip POR.

going back depends on the time of day / traffic. there are times POFQ and POR share and times they don't. but the fact is POFQ is smaller so it's a bit unfair if it did get its own bus when POR has more people to share the same bus.

We've never been in the middle of summer...but every time we have gone we have always stayed at POFQ and always shared a bus with the bus stops at POR. The only way we didn't stop is if we were already standing room only before leaving the POFQ bus stop.

It really wasn't that bad. Since we were first to get on an empty bus we always got a seat. Also POFQ is the first to be dropped off after you leave the parks.

MK is the only park where after 3:00pm (?), they get their own bus for pOFQ. The rest share. It's can be a crazy situation.

I agree that, particularly in the busy summer months, they should change the procedure. POR is a very large resort and the bus gets crowded very quickly. But it has been that way for quite awhile.
