Does anyone know if Pop Century will now share buses with the Art of Animation Resort?

I hope not because this is one reason why we love to stay at Pop Century, no sharing!

Thanks for the info!

If at all, it would only be during slow seasons and times of day. Theoretically they would increase the number of buses running the route, so it would balance out.

My personal opinion is that POP and AoA will end up sharing buses, but ONLY sporadically during the non-peak late AM/early PM hours similar to the system at the All-Star Resort(the All-Star Resort actually is larger than POP/AoA).:)

For example,if it is 1:30 PM at the Magic Kingdom bus depot and there are 5 Guests waiting for a POP bus and 7 Guests waiting for an AoA bus,I just don't see Disney running TWO buses-one with 5 Guests and one with 7 Guests- instead of ONE bus with 12 Guests when the 2 Resorts are adjacent to each other.:)

Time will tell.:)

disney is so tight with their buses - so I would say that Pop and AoA will definitely share buses - all the time.

their deluxes resorts share buses - and the all star share buses - so just be happy we got to enjoy Pop before it had to share buses.

this will make all the hotels have multiply stops (either at itself or at another resort).

the only time that Pop might not share is when it is sold out. but even then expect to share at off times.

Isn't it funny how people want to share pools, food courts, shopping, etc between AoA & Pop - BUT - they DON'T want to share buses! :confused3

Seems like we sometimes only want the GOOD, and we easily accept what WE want. But when it inconveniences us slightly - we complain - even before it happens!

Strange group, these humans! :rolleyes1

Ahh, but the All Stars each have their own bus way more often than they share. In my stays at the All Stars we only shared during slower times of the day. And each All Star is smaller than the Pop or the AoA. So when you think about it the Pop doesn't have any edge in the bus service over the All Stars.

Assuming this is fairly accurate and Pop is mostly full, Pop will still require dedicated service much of the time. It has far more rooms than any other resort and is about the size of the combined All-Stars.

How is that funny? I don't understand.

Of course we all like good things and we aren't real crazy about things that aren't so good.

I like sunshine, rainbows and puppies. I don't like tornadoes, rain and starvation, am I strange?

I'm not sure what is to roll your eyes and be confused about.

We will know the answer to that question when the first guest checks into the Art of Animation.

And even if the resorts do or do not share buses, there is absolutely no way of telling if that will or will not continue.

Disney will adjust and adapt the transportation as they see fit. No one can say "this is the way it is and will always be and that's that". Art of Animation is a new resort and it will be worked out.

Been to Disney World way too many times with way too many changes to way too many things to even speculate on something like this.

sorry believe me unless it is the morning or when the park will close. Pop will share. or as stated when Pop is full.
Pop only has 2,880 rooms - the other side is the AoA. It was never declared into Pop.

everytime I have stayed at All Stars they were sharing - now I have not stayed in a while.

right now BW, D&S always share - sometimes with YC, BC, BCV. so saying just because Pop is a big resort it won't share. that does not seem to be true. you need to include the DVC resorts in your room count to compare

Disney only seems to change their bus route because of demand inside the resort.

OKW and POR were definitely changed to get more guests to stay in other rooms. they wanted more guests to in the back units at OKW - so instead of that part being the last stop - it is now the second stop. Think it was to get more stays in the Ab instead of the MB?

don't think CBR, SSR, CSR have changed their bus routes. CBR has been around since the 80's.

the MK resorts do change - but it is always at least 2 if not 3 resorts together.

if their deluxe resort share buses and they do - then yes the value resorts will share a bus.

Gee, I didn't know I was "complaining".:confused3

I was just asking a question.

Thanks to those of you with a positive attitude!
