Have you been picked to be in a show at WDW?Like Indiana Jones Show,the old SuperStar TV Show or Monster Sound Show(Chevey Chase version) or any of the parades.I was in a couple of the above and was Davey's Angel in HDDR show one time and had a great time.If you have been any of the shows or chosen for a special experience at WDW would love to hear about it. We were chosen to be in the water tank special effects portion of the Backlot Tour at Disney-MGM. They took us backstage and we put on rain suits and shoes, and we got to demonstrate the filming of a Pearl Harbor-type movie. We were the crew members and had to run around like crazy while whe were "bombarded by the enemy. It was pretty fun.

If you want to vounteer for this show, it's usually pretty easy to do so.

I did this as well, I knew how it went so I got my friend to volunteer for the engineer part lol..that was the best her boyfriend stayed in the audience to take pictures/ video..its great b/c we had black and white film loaded in the camera and he took shots of us walking in, it looked very "Armeggedon" lol we looked like we were on an inportant mission!

I've volunteered for the water tank portion of the Backlot Tour. I've been the mechanic, captain, and the deck crew. It's a lot of fun. You get nice and wet. It especially feels got when it's really hot out. It's easy to get picked for (or you can also ask). You just have to be 16 and up.

ooh, my mom and I were picked for that too (several years ago). She was in the "boat" and the water came up over her and I was on the lookout and the torpedoes came up around me and then the giant air cannon. it was fun and it was so hot that day it was great to get a little wet!

I am also quite the volunteerer (is that a word?) I have been in the Indiana Jones show twice. That's really fun. It's cool to be down on the floor when everything is happening around you. And I did Monster sound stage with Chevy Chase and Martin Short. That was fun. Had to stomp in gravel, and shake a big piece of metal to make thunder. And then to watch the movie back and see how nothing matches up... that was a fun show.

My DH and I, along with our best friends were chosen to do the water tank at the backlot tour... we were told to ham it up and boy did we. DH, best friend C and I were deck crew, best friend K was in the cabin. We did our best to look like the 3 stooges

Everyone told us we were really funny... just wish we had someone to film it or get some photos.
