This is going to be our first 24hour event so I'm extremely excited!! (Love this topic, I've been reading disboards for a while and finally decided to create an account)

• Times you will be looking for spots to view the. parade/fireworks/Fantasmic/World of color. Probably about an hour before for ptn/fireworks Fantasmic I plan I going to get a fp for 10:45 if that doesn't work we will play by ear...woc is my favorite so we got reservations for wine country at 140am for 3am show !
• Will you go to all shows are just some?all the new ones of course and Fantasmic
• Dining plans? Plaza inn breakfast and then wine country "breakfast"
• Looking for special event food or souvenirs? Wanna get some Minnie ears and maybe a shirt and if they have 60th pandora charms I'm all about that
• Fast pass strategy? Playing it by ear, but definitely will use as we can
• Are you going at Rope drop/ middle of the day / or night hours? Planning on 3am arrival and gonna book it til the end!
• Favorite attractions you are planning to see? Woc! But what I'm most excited about is its my sisters first trip to Disneyland so we're ready to show her as much as we can!
• Hotels you are staying at? Disney or offsite? Offsite
• Disney outfit/costume?!? Do you have something special you plan to wear to celebrate the event? I'm planning on "disneybounding" as Minnie something simple (polka dot pants and black tank) and bf is doing Mickey (red shorts black shirt) comfortable and park appropriate lol

I kinda have a love/hate thing going on with this event! LOL! I am very excited to see the new parade and especially the fireworks as the fireworks are my favorite at DL and now with the projections it looks to be spectacular. But, I am REALLY not looking forward to the crowds.

We will see PTN and, of course, the fireworks. Not sure if we will make it until 3:00 a.m. to see WOC. We will probably stake out a spot at least 2 hours in advance of the parade.
We actually don't have any dining plans, just CS, and maybe try for some chicken and waffles.
I would like to at least get some t-shirts for the 24 hour day. I originally thought they might have a variety of shirts for this event, but it sound like just the Dopey shirt, sure wish I had ordered them from Disney online when they had them. Oh, and my son wants Mickey 60th ears since he has the ones for the 50th.
We don't really have a FP strategy. Probably try to get them as early as possible
We are going around 5:00 for rope drop.
My son is excited to see the Matterhorn. I, of course, am excited for the fireworks!
We are staying offsite.
No dressing up for us. Just wearing something comfortable since it will be a long day!

Dining plans?Looking for special event food or souvenirs? Just counter service nothing special. I probably will go to Critter county to the candy store and see what treats they have there I would like to get a 60th Anniversary Pin & Shirt.

?Fast pass strategy? I am planning on heading straight to DCA to try and get a FP for the 3am WOC and maybe try to get one for RSR (but not counting on that one. Then heading to DL.

Are you going at Rope drop/ middle of the day / or night hours? We are flying in and should be at SNA at 8am so as soon as we drop off our bags to our hotel we will be there!!

Favorite attractions you are planning to see? The usual Haunted Mansion, Pirates..

Hotels you are staying at? Disney or offsite? Off site Red Lion

Disney outfit/costume?!?Do you have something special you plan to wear to celebrate the event? I want to get a T-shirt from DL event specific or 60th Anniversary T-Shirt to wear.

6 Mom's coming down from Portland Oregon..... Flying down on Thursday - Hula dog at Newport Beach for lunch, pool time at the hotel in the afternoon and early to bed so we are ready to go for Friday.

Going to hope we are lucky on the Fireworks, just going to find a spot right after dinner, cutting it close. Fantasmic BB package, WOC 3am Breakfast package and parade going to hand out at the from of the Park, so we can run over to breakfast right after at DCA.

All the evening shows, though, not sitting for hours to see each one.

• Dining plans?

Counter service all day, lots of snacks, and then Blue Bayou for Dinner and Ariel's Grotto for 1:30am Breakfast.

• Looking for special event food or souvenirs?

Plan on hitting the stores first thing in the morning to get our 60th ears and Sweatshirts, and some 24 hour merch.

• Fast pass strategy?

Grab them when we can and when they work into our planned park schedule. Always got to take advantage of them when we can.

• Are you going at Rope drop/ middle of the day / or night hours?

Will be in line at 4am. Will be spending the entire 24 hours in the parks, no going back to the hotel.

Fresh new Soarin over California. Always Space Mountain. EVERYTHING

  • Can't get off work and will be fighting major traffic. So either before 5pm or after 9pm depending on how things work out

• Times you will be looking for spots to view the parade/fireworks/Fantasmic/World of color. I will looking for a nice spot on the curb on Main Street around 4 or 5 pm for the 8:50 PTN. Earlier if necessary since it's my whole reason for going!
• Will you go to all shows are just some? Not going into DCA, so just PTN and DF for us.
• Dining plans? Lunch ressies at Carnation Cafe but am hoping for Club 33!
• Looking for special event food or souvenirs? Just doing recon--I'll be back with my family in August.
• Fast pass strategy? Space Mountain and Indy -- anything else is optional.
• Are you going at Rope drop/ middle of the day / or night hours? I am chaperoning a high school grad trip and our bus (x4) should arrive by 8 am.
• Favorite attractions you are planning to see? Now that PP isn't available my only must do's are BTMRR, StarTours, and Matterhorn.

  We have dining packages for Fantasmic and WOC that night. We're going to the 10:45 show for Fantasmic and 3:00am show for WOC. We're going to try to get to the parade area right after we eat at Blue Bayou and will most likely stay around Main Street to see the fireworks after.

  We have breakfast at Plaza Inn at 10am. Then dinner at Blue Bayou at 6:50pm, which we're actually going to try to check in at 6:30 instead. Then we have breakfast at Wine Country Trattoria at 1am

  I'm going to the Merchandise Event on the 20th and 21st so I can see all of the new merchandise. I'm also getting the Mickey Ear Hat Pandora Charm and the Dooney&Burke Crossbody. Hoping to get some of the 60th Anniversary Minnie Ears too.

  Whatever we can get! We booked our room with the AP discount so we get 1 FP per person already which I know we're going to use on the 24 hour day.

  Hoping to see the new Matterhorn. Definitely have to ride my favorite ride, Space Mountain, at least once.

I wonder if Haunted Mansion will have fast pass that day. I think they only have fast pass during the holiday remodel.

They had it this weekend, but that was because of the Hatbox ghost return. So you never know, it could happen.

Well I am not sleeping in line for opening. I wonder what the gift is but I am not going for it.
I will arrive at 9 or 10am. I decided not to stress about it. I have plenty of hours to celebrate.

I'm traveling solo, so I'm going to play it by ear on the shows. I figure I can squeeze in somewhere to catch the parade and fireworks. I have a WOC dinner for Saturday night since I couldn't get one of the breakfast reservations for the 3AM show. Plus, I want to be in DL for the "closing ceremony" at 6AM and I was worried about capacity/hopping. Hoping to get one of the 24 hour event pins. Not sure what my food plans are. Planning to hit Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Small World and the TEACUPS. Will FP BTMR and Space. Anything else is bonus. I also envision several Great Naps with Mr. Lincoln during the day.... Staying at Stovall's. Wearing my bright green DIS Divaland tee shirt and my DIS Diva hat
