Is Pacific Wharf still pretty quiet in DCA? That used to be one of my go-to spots, but it has been a while!

Not quiet now. Since there's so many restaurants, it was packed at the end of Sept. .... like waiting for tables to open up with my tray of food at 7:00 pm.

When you can actually snag that bench and chair on the porch on Main Street, it is so nice to people watch. I guess it's not quiet per-say, but there is something very relaxing about people watching on Main Street listening to the Disney music.

The best place at California Adventure was the second level of the wine trattoria. Nice place not ever very busy, great views. Then they made it exclusive to Magic Key members only/ Looks like the same menu and now there are never any reservations available

There's "rafts" (raft makes it sound smaller than it is), actually a flat standing room only ferry that takes you across the river. Located near the water kind of down in front of Haunted Mansion area. Normally close just before sunset.

In Disneyland at Harbor Galley if you walk to the front of the Sailing Ship Columbia (which is also pretty cool to get such a close view of the front of the ship) there is a small pathway that almost doesn’t seem like you should be walking there. But there is a sign that says more seating around the corner. That more seating is about 4 tables almost completely hidden. I have never seen more than one person there. It is not good for people watching, but great for getting out of the crowds and relaxing. If you keep walking there is a bridge you can stand on and look at the Rivers of America and Pirates Lair Island. Please keep this just between us.

I have to admit they closed down a LOT of our go to quiet spots!!! We used to love the ranch area in DL and would often find a quiet spot in Bugs land in CA. For now, here are our go to quiet spots:
DL: If we want a nice "cool" quiet spot we do Mr. Lincoln or Tiki Room. If we just want a quiet spot to chill we go to Snow Whites grotto, Tinker Bells area, the Island or Hungry Bear to sit down.
CA: Here we usually go in the Animation building and do a drawing or two, catch a Turtle Talk and wander around the library. Our outdoor go to is the Red Wood Creek (unless its being used for character meets.

Generally I love to hang out around the Hungry Bear in Disneyland, or the Redwood trail area in DCA.

Sometimes just finding a place to sit down is a godsend. Have they blocked off any outdoor seating areas these days (either benches, outdoor dining areas, etc)?
