Hi! Last year I started a thread where people shared tips and photos of their designs for wheelchairs and ECVs. Thought I'd get a current one going since my husband just surprised me with an adults only trip for my 40th. I am not going as all-out as lost year, but this is what I did last time!
Nightmare before Christmas theme with glittery black leaves, silhouette character ornaments I made, striped seat with extra foam cushion and skull/orange lights. The orange lights ended up being a pain and were left in the hotel after theMNSSHP. I changed the days until X-mas on the front sign, which was made of a cheap whiteboard piece and I had a tiny marker to change in the hotel. every day since we were there between both parties. I don't recall many people even noticing it but it made me happy.
It made me feel excited about my first ECV use and about Halloween!
Note: I stared out with socks on the armrests, I found these slipped off and I removed themou T of annoyance after the first day. If you want to do this maybe kids knee highs? Or sew/clip them a bit smaller.
I used plastic zip ties to hold the decorations on, and brought scissors to the hotel to remove.
