Has anyone used this? I thought about purchasing this on QVC this morning and debated whether or not I would use it. Feedback would be great for this.

it was one of those I must have this and I've never even opened the box to look at it yet. I'm sure I'll use it someday. Hopefully during this winter when we are all stuck home in the snow scrapbooking.

I have one and have used it a few times . I have the original template and a few more . If you like dry embossing it is a fast easy way to get in to it, but now I am leaning more towards the brass templates because of the different shapes available. Will probably use them more than my shapeboss. Also the one with the light is a better buy than the one I have . If I had the light table it could be also used for when I use the brass templates , so it would serve two functions. I will be adding a light box to my Christmas wish list . Check out Fiskars website to see additional templates and design ideas before you purchase one.

Thanks for the input....it looks like I will pass on it this time. It looked cool but I think I would only use it once or twice and it would go back to its box. If I were more into card making or something like that then I think I would use it more.

I was up at the crack of dawn this morning watching QVC since I missed last nights (I did record it) 2 hr presentation. DD had cheer and tumbling practice. When I got home and watched the recorded show 2 hrs later... some of the things I thought ooohhh how cool, maybe I should get it, ended up selling out. Luckily I checked on line and there is a waitlist. So perhaps I will request waitlist.

One more morning getting up at 5am to watch QVC... I love the peace and quiet. But boy am I tired here at work.

I missed it this morning, too. (I was NOT going to get up at 4am for it.) I did record it but haven't watched yet. What I did do is look at the 24-hour review. The only item that looked interesting to me was the chalklets set. I was tempted to get on the waitlist, but I looked up prices on other sites first. I found that I can order elsewhere for cheaper, even getting the tweezers separately. Sure the "price" for it on QVC is good, but after adding in shipping and tax it's not a good deal for me. (And the "Retail Value" that they listed for the chalklet set - $37.50 - is bull.)

I have this system and have to say I like it. My DD (age 6) uses it a good bit too. We like to emboss and then cut out the shape. It works well with the thin metal too.

I hear ya! I find all their stuff at Creative Express.... I always wonder if they use creative express as their supplier. I was thinking about getting the galaxy markers. I did check that out and it is a great deal. Sigh....

I love my Galaxy markers. I also really love the Slick Writers. I haven't seen them around for a better price than on QVC either. (Although I haven't looked too much for them elsewhere.)
