So, once upon a time, there was a TR. And then we bought a house and I dropped off the face of the planet.
But I'm back, and ready to tell you all about Day 3, Part 1: Someone Get That Mermaid a Tuning Fork!
Day 3 dawned sunny and absolutely gorgeous.
The plan was to spend the day swimming, and then meet up with our friend Ducky to go to Medieval Times later that evening. There had been some talk about going to Hollywood Studios, but I knew Adam wanted to enjoy the sun and pool, so it hadn't been fully decided.
We slept in, and when Adam woke up he took one look at me un-enthusiastically digging out my bathing suit and started to laugh. "You really want to go to Hollywood Studios, don't you?" Well, of COURSE I do! "Even though we'll only be able to stay for a few hours?" YES!!!
So we had breakfast, added a day on to our tickets and headed over to HS to ride my second favorite ride:

We grabbed FPs for ToT, but the wait was only about 20 minutes, so we rode... and then rode again as our FPs had come due.
After our second ride we grabbed FPs for RnR for later in the day, and then wandered around a bit trying to decide what to do next.
Neither of us had ever seen Voyage of the Little Mermaid, so we ducked in there and enjoyed the show. The only thing I disliked was that Ariel must have been having an off day; she was insanely flat
the whole time and it was driving me NUTS. Someone needed to get that mermaid a tuning fork! Scuttle must have one hiding somewhere, right?!?! We survived it though, and overall enjoyed the show.
After our visit with the slightly tone deaf mermaid, we stopped for some lunch at Starring Rolls (no pics, bad DISer) before catching a ride, or three on Star Tours.

We used our RnR FPs and rode ToT one last time (3 times in a 5 hour span - not bad!) We decided to check out the Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow before we headed out to DTD to meet up with Ducky!
Overall... not impressed. It wasn't terrible, but they had so many people crammed in there it was hard to see anything, and the long wait... well, frankly I didn't think it was worth it.
I seem to have a knack for not checking into the bus routes closely enough. I really, truly thought we could catch a bus from HS to DTD. I was wrong, which we finally figured out after wandering for a bit with no luck. I pretty much just stuck my head into the first bus that pulled in and asked how to get there. He suggested I hop on a bus to Saratoga Springs because it's right next to DTD and then transfer to a DTD bus from there.
So that's what we did!
Don't mind Adam, he decided to stretch out and catch some Zs on the way.

We arrived in DTD and were off to meet Ducky who would be taking us to Medieval Times!
Up Next: Beverages Should Always Come in Glowing Containers!

Methinks they do this so people don't park at DTD and take the internal transportation to the parks. We did in fact manage to get there though!

I HAD to have one!!!

It's nice to know someone is reading! I'm making it my new goal to comment often on the TRs I read. Even if it's a small comment, I'm coming to realize that it means a lot to know someone is reading!

I don't dislike it, but if I had to skip a park... I might skip Epcot. Sacrilege, I know! Adam adores it though, so we always go.

I'm truly not sure how I managed that. We were just sort of soaking it all in. I'll try not to be too wordy as I wrap up our short but sweet trip!
So literally within 15 minutes in the park he'd managed to get conked with a stroller. Le sigh.
He was so happy that we were leaving the park on a high note! The last time we went together, we were so tired, and sore, and cranky, and I was so sad to be leaving... it was not good. This time we were happy, and rested, and dancing, and on our way to dinner, and I got a huge kiss in the middle of Main Street! Great way to end the trip in my book!
