I'm sorry, I've posted this somewhere else too... I really need to figure out what to do before the prints expire, so I'd love some input...

Just wondering who here has purchased a book from the Photo Pass site, and what they thought of the finished product. I'm a Creative Memories consultant and my "consultant side" says I should make a StoryBook on the CM site, but the problem is they don't have any Disney Templates as of yet... But it appears as if there are only a handful of templates to choose from on Disney's Photo Pass site however, and the ones I'm seeing are rather cheesy IMO.

I guess I'm wondering how happy you were with your book. What was the page quality like? Are the prints crystal clear? Was it easy to make? Do you think it will last for years to come?? I have two little boys that will no doubt want to look at it over and over again. Would you consider the construction sturdy (as much a book can be that is)

Thanks in advance for any input!

I purchasd one and while I absolute love it I feel that it is not worth the price. The pictures from the photopass were extremely grainy looking but the ones I uploaded were OK. Yes their templates are rather few and far between but they went perfectly with my pics. Now if you are just using uploaded pictures and have a 20% off coupon I think it is worth it but I had to pay the high price of using a few of their photopass pictures, my own fault I got so excited about taking pics with captain jack I forgot to give them my camera to take a picture with it too. I think the pages are the same quality of a childrens book, might be able to handle a little wear and tear.

Oh thank you for this post! I just posted this same question on another board and got no responses at all. I was wondering about the quality of the printed photobook pages with uploaded pics too.

We just returned from taking my parents on their first Disney trip with their grandkids and I would LOVE to put together a lasting memory for them. Are there any other sites that let you do this with uploaded photos? Any with Disney templates? I have done CM in the past (waaaaay back)....are there Disney photo papers at the craft stores now? I'd love to find pre-designed ones....I just hate cutting and designing all those pages!!

Honestly, CM has some really cute digital album templates, and I know their finished albums are very high quality. The only problem is I'd like it to be Disney theme as far as page design goes, and I'm assuming they will probably never have any Disney templates since Disney wants you to order their book on the Photo Pass site.

Of course you can always make a cute little 7x7 album by hand for the grandparents too. CM has a Disney Snap Pack with really cute Disney stickers and papers. I made a Disney ABC's book for my oldest son when we went in 05'.

Not sure I'm allowed to post links, but I'll give it a try...

I took my vacation in January and did a 12x12 and 7x7 scrapbook of our trip. I used the Creative memories Disney coverset, black pages and their disney collection (snappack, Mickey classics album kit and the adventures of pooh album kit). I completed both albums (the 12x12 was 84 pages!) in three weeks (including waiting for my pictures to come in) and had plenty of product left over. I have been a CM consultant for years so I am partial to their quality of product anyways (I am not trying to sound like a scrapbook snob my personality just gravitates to thier style is all) but it was so refreshing to finish the books and when people asked about my trip I just showed them the album. So I recommend whatever system works for you to get your album done quickly.
As for the digital Storybooks I have a CM one and love it. I honestly looked at the photopass ones (even as a CM consultant and loyalist I am still a sucker for all things with The Mouse on them ;) ) and I too felt they were a little cheesy for me. I also liked how CM's were stitch bound and not pasted together.

That's alright asgt, I AM a scrapbook snob.:rotfl:

That's why even though the idea of having mickey pages is appealing, I think I'm going to stick with a CM book. I think I'll make a StoryBook for "Papa", a 7x7 for my youngest to have an ABC book too, and a 12x12 for me. My husband always takes our vacation albums to work to show off what good time we've had as well. It's a good feeling to see him show off my scrapbooking.:flower3:
