I am just so proud of my 5 year old that I wanted to share it.....

Last year in Pre-K, we had some periods of trouble where he was very defiant to the teachers and even at one point was hitting other children. We worked hard on his behavior and attitude, and a year later it has really paid off....

Yesterday his school had an awards ceremony for the year as school ends next week, and my son came home with a huge trophy, for the BEST BEHAVED child in his kindergarten class.

Ain't that the truth! I don't have kids but I have 13 nieces & nephews. All but 2 live in VA. So to most of them, I'm the 'other' that they behave for. But the 2 that live in NY--forget about it! I'm their back up authority figure, and they aren't on their best behavior all the time anymore.

Thank you! He is so proud of himself, he has been carrying the trophy around everywhere. He even took it with him when we went out to dinner to "celebrate" tonight.
