I'll join, but won't be able to read all of them as i've only just got into reading and lots of people have given me books so have a shelf full.

Thanks Jen - I've just got your message. It sounds like a good book to start with - if we read it during April we can get together on May 1st to start the discussion.

Emily and Claire - please suggest some of the books you already have.

If I can have more suggestions I can write a 6 month list - that way we can order from the library or take advantage of multi-buy offers. I'll start a new thread once I've got a few titles.

Great idea, I would like to join but it maybe in a couple of months as i'm really busy at the moment reading texts I need to pass my course unless people want to discuss Medical emergencies, trauma etc

As long as they are easily available any books will be O.K. So far only Jen has made a suggestion and I have a couple that I'd like to add but the more people that give me titles the more likely we are to get a good mixture of styles.

I will start a new thread on April 1st with a short list - we can add to it as we get inspiration. Then we can get back together on May 1st with our thoughts. (The first book will be 'We need to talk about Kevin' by Lionel Shriver if you want to get started early - I've got to finish the one I'm reading at the moment before I begin a new one.)
