How much was the Baggalini (sp???) at Marshalls? What styles did they carry? I've only seen those at AAA. I like 'em! Did you figure out what to do with your extra one day ticket? (Do you still have 'em?) You can probably trade those in for something you can use....you are down to just a few days!!!!!

To Do List

Today we have 2 birthday parties and church. I need to clean my house a little and then start packing because the rest of the week is nuts.

Monday Jeff has a dentist appt then he works all day. I have a DR's appt that I was going to CXL until afterwards because its really far awsy, like over an hour each way, but I forgot so I think I have to go or get charged for it. I hate to take up that chunk of the day. Then Morgan has cheer, thankfully no dance but cheer after school, Jake has football

Tuesday I have Parent teacher conferences in the morning that we were supposed to do Thursday. Then I work in Jake's classroom. Then dance and karate after school.

Wednesday I work in Morgans classroom. Have Dance after school, football practice. Get home at 8:30 and pass out because we leave at 4:30am on Thursday morning for the airport.

So I need to get busy today!

Here is the list

Make photocopies of all ticket media (still havent done that)
Buy strapless bra for my costume, my old one fell off of me. TMI!!!!
Buy disposable cameras for kids and waterproof disposable for Typhoon Lagoon
Charge cameras, ipods, video camera, cell phones, dvd player
Put another movie onto each of our ipods
Put chargers into bags to pack
pack!
Finish their surprise/welcome bags
Type up list of ADR times and conf numbers. Make some sort of schedule
laundry like crazy!
Remember shorts for under Morgans pirate skirt
Pack Earrings for Morgan and I.
Do our nails with the red and black polish I bought!
Give NoSamantha a bath and comb her with a shedding comb
Wash all of her bedding stuff (she's spoiled and has a bed and 3 sheets, she actually covers herself up at night. Its funny! )
Take NoSamantha over to Grandma's on Wednesday night so we dont have to do it Thursday morning.
Fax my room request TODAY!
Order Water TODAY
Pay bills due while we are gone
Put timers on lamps indoors
Switch to bagallini bag that I picked up from Marshalls, maybe decorate it with some bling!
Stamps for postcards or just buy them at the front desk
Remember to bring addresses!!!
Remember to bring fridge swap information and phone numbers
Decorate our pumpkins Morgan found for our window sill. I'll post pictures when these are done.
Get boarding passes on Wednesday morning

What a full week!!!!

First, How is your brother? Will the ceremony tomorrow be a big gathering, or more intimate with just family and close friends? I'm glad there was some laughter, with good memories to share this past weekend.

How is Morgan's and Jake's school handling the kids time off? Did they get independent study? Little reports to do? Light homework? Gee, I miss the freedom of younger children. Now that Kaitlyn is in HS, it's just not as easy as it used to be. Even taking one little day off is a big deal. Anyways, I hope that all went smoothly in that area.

So you put ties on your costume? Did it work, and look somewhat decent?

How did Jake's costume turnout? Were you happy with it? Hoping to see pics of that, Morgan's pirate skirt, and of course the whole family all gussied up for the big night. Today, I cut out Kaitlyn's costume. Alot of pieces. Hopefully it will look like what I'm visualizing.


NoSamantha sounds so hilarious!! She actually covers herself up? That is so cute. What naughty things has she been up to this week?

Maybe you have already thought about this, but while you are printing out your itineraries....................you might print one out for your Mom. Also all of your airline and hotel arrangements. I usually do this for my Mom. She loves it. She tells me she will look at them everyday, to see what we are up to. I think it makes her feel closer to us. Anyways, just a suggestion.

Don't forget all the medicines you could possibly need in case of anything. Especially for the kids. Of course, I'm sure you know where a great first aid station is, if you need it. No duh!

Gee I'm yacking like you don't know anything. You are the Disney whiz kid from way back when. Can't wait to see how your WDW is for you today!!

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to everyone. 2 crazy birthday parties then my mom fractured her foot yesterday and I've been helping her. Today was my DR's appt on the other side of the world. That took 5 hours by the time all was said and done.

I've been lurking readin all along on this one, hope you don't mind Your trip is so soon I'm jealous! Your kids are probably so excited too. The costumes are such a cute idea and how cool that you made them all yourself. You have a busy week ahead so good luck with everything!

I cant take credit for all of the costumes. I just made Jake's and altered mine and Jeff's. I did make Morgan and Jake's Chef Mickey outfits and the pirate cruise outfits though.

Here is the baggallini or however you spell it. It was only 16.99 at Marshalls. I was shocked when I saw it there. It was right next to a Coach purse too. I wish it wasnt in pink although Morgan loves it. The pink isnt bad I guess. Anyway it holds a TON of stuff and is so comfortable.

I think we are just keeping the extra days since I have about 4 of them for each of us for a future vacation. They are cast tickets that dont expire!!! I wish I would have thought of them before I bought the ones I have now though.

All weekend, no margarita guys around. What on earth is this world coming to??? I put that in my room request too. Private Butler, jacuzzi, Room with a spectacular view, Margarita boy serving at my will. I hope they all get granted.

Ummm Yes I was wearing the strapless bra at the time. Dh said I should wear it to the park but again he wants the stripper version of this costume still!!!

Ok I'm going to try to answer everything!!!

The ceremony today was huge from my understanding. I guess it was very impressive.

School situation could not be better. We leave Thurday morning and Thursday and Friday they have half days since its conference week. I'm doing conferences tomorrow and Morgan takes her tests and turns in homework on Wednesday. Jake turns him homework on Wednesday. So they m iss 2 half days. We all know not much gets done on half days. Then they are off all next week for fall break and the following Monday for Columbus day. So we come home on Tuesday. They will just miss 1 full day of school then. Both teachers said after being off for so loing it will be hectic getting the kids to settle down so no big deal to miss Tuesday either. So anyway we are only missing 2 half days and 1 full day for a 12 night trip!!

Jakes costume is cute. I'll save pictures for the real Trip report.

I'll try to snap a pic of NoSamantha covered up. She doesnt do it every night but about half the nights she grabs it with her teeth and pulls it up over her.

Going left to right on the pumkins it goes Morgans, mine, Jeffs and Jakes. Jeffs started to look like Francis from a Bugs Life so he put red dots on it.

I'm going to post them quickly before we run out the door to cheer.

I'm not sure what we are doing with their Mickey heads yet. I stole that idea from Kathleens trip report. Her kids are older so they look umm well, lets just say you can tell what they are!

My mom fractured her foot and tore her ligament (sp?). She has to stay off of it for a few days and then she should be good in her surgical boot for a couple weeks. With all the surgeries she has had she is pretty good at getting around. Luckily it wasnt any worse.

I LOVE the Pumpkins!

I know I couldnt believe it. I thought it was a knock off but when I saw it was the real thing I thought I just had to have it! Sometimes TJ Maxx and Marshalls have great deals on purses if you hunt for them. like the Coach that was next to them. Unfortunately I still didnt have the $325 that was still on the Marshalls price tag.

The pumpkins were Morgans idea! I thought they were really cute. What do you think, should I put them in carry on luggage or check them? I have each one wrapped in a ziplock and then a plastic bag. They are tiny.

I need a packing team over here pronto! Who is volunteering?

Later today I'll update my to do list. Right now I need to get ready for conferences this morning.

I found Mickey and Minnie disposable cameras at the grocery store last night but Morgan was with me. Sophia, are these the ones you took your pictures with that had the Disney pictures on them? They were so cute! Anyway, I need to go get them and the Mickey head shaped pretzels at the store for the surprise bag this morning.


Question for those frequent fliers out there clearly I am not one of them anymore. With disposable cameras do I need to take them out to have them screened at the carry on check point? See if I'm trying to hide them from the kids I'm wondering how this works. Thanks for the answers in advance!
