Does anyone have an opinion about how Shades of Green is doing since it reopened. How are the room? What about Transportation?

Thanks for the help.

We stayed at SOG this last May and the resort was gorgeous. They hadn't opened up the Italian restaurant yet (sorry, I forgot the name), but almost everything else was up and running. We stayed in the old section, but the rooms were still very nice...a good size, comfortable beds, pretty decor, and a fridge in the room. The buses were fine too. They ran on the 1/2 hour if I remember correctly and we never had to wait long for one.

Good luck with your decision and enjoy! :sunny:

We stayed at SoG with my brother's family (Air Force) the first week it reopened - the new wing was just opening half way through our stay. The lobby was large & picturesque.

I do know that the new wing was quite a distance from the pools, as they didn't add any pools during the construction. As the previous poster stated, each room has a small fridge, table & 4 chairs, a pull out twin/day bed. The rooms are quite large - each one had a nice size balcony/patio.

Bring your own soap. Theirs is not too good - green apple slime is all I can describe it as.

It is missing the "Disney magic", but it's still a nice resort to stay at. We'll be there with him again next year for about a week before transferring over to OKW! :D
