If you stay at Shades of Green are you allowed to go over to the polynesian and take the monrails to the various parks?

Yes! We always walk to the Poly and take the monorail to MK. It takes us about 10 min to walk over. We usually drive to the other parks since we have our car.

We always use the monorail to and from the parks. I think I recently saw where someone took a photo of a small sign on Poly property that pointed SOG folks in the right direction to SOG. After seeing this picture, not only does the SOG shady shuttle encourage use of the Poly monorail, but it appears Poly has no problem with doing this either.

You sure can!! In fact on my last trip that was pretty much how we got around. We really like the walk it is not long and very pretty.

Access to the monorail at the Poly is one of the perks of staying at SOG.

We stay at SOG and I thought I would never want to do that walk AFTER the parks - but I found it VERY enjoyable. It is a short walk and is very peaceful at night. The added perk w/us was that as a family we had a chance to really reflect on the day - or anticipate the day (on the walk over). We drive to AK and MGM. I noticed that we would pile in the car, turn on the radio and zone out when we drove. Enjoy!

Dh and I stayed at SOG for the first time last year and one of our favorite experiences was walking over to the Poly everyday!! At night we would just ride the monorail around to the different resorts and look around. Can't wait to do it again this year!!!
