Hello All,

I am getting married at Shades of Green on June 23. Originally, it was suppose to be a small wedding with approx. 20 guests. After the ceremony, we were going to go to Ohana's for dinner and then to the beach to watch the boat parade and fireworks.

Well, my family has surprised me and approx. 60 people have said that they are interested in coming to the wedding. I think that this is too big of a group for Ohana's. Does anyone have any ideas for a dinner for my guests?

Thanks,

Sharon

Hi I got married at Shades of Green over a year ago. We had a great reception there. Maybe talk to them about one? I think 60 people is definately too many for Ohana's. It would cost you alot more too. Our reception was I think less that $21.00 per person. If you have any questions just let me know. There are a few of us on here that have gotten married at Shades of Green.

There is a great hall in the main lobby of shades of green to use which I think the pp is refering too! I can't remember how large the italian restaurant is that is there downstairs? You could always look at renting out the room at the california grill as well...I'm sure more people will come on with suggestions!

As much as I love Shades of Green, I adore the atmosphere at Ohana's, and think it'd be much more fun for a reception. Have you tried calling them to see if they could accomodate you? I bet there wouldn't be a problem...plus it's just across the street, so you wouldn't have to be worried about transportation.

I'm bias though, because i just love Ohanas!
