oK - they will come together eventually! Just had to take a moment and share this. Last night was first dress for our high school performance of "Cinderella".

As the assistant costume director on this one obviously I've been deeply involved in getting the work done - costumes constructed, fitted, etc. Last night the entire cast was in costume from start to finish. My designers eye couldn't help but cross over into my scrappers brain seeing how photos of these scenes are going to scrap!

Our lead designer did an incredible job finding fabrics and trim that work incredibly well together. We constructed over 200 pieces on a budget of $2000. And they look like we spent 10 times that much. (Yea, I know I'm sort of blowing my own horn here!) Along with that we pulled from both high school and middle school costume stocks. A cast of 40 has 4 or 5 full costumes per cast member. The overall theme is a fantasy approach with a Medieval/Renassaince flair. As soon as I get some pics back I'll try to post a few so you can see.

I'm tired this morning and it is going to be a LONG week, since I couldn't take any vacation time, but it is going to be an incredible show!

I'm sure that is a ton of work. It must be great to see it all come together and know your vision works! Congrats and be sure to take lots of pics to scrap!
