I know that you have gotten very good advise on this thread, but I would also suggest that you head over to the DISabilities forum. I have no idea if there are any other suggestions, btu if so, the folks who hang out there would have them.
Several years ago I had teh opportunity to chat with the Chef at Shutters. SHe bounced back and forth between ther and POP< so she gave us insight on how allergies are treated at both TS and CS restaurants. Things may have changed since then, but she shared with us that Disney Chefs are trained to handle over 40 food borne allergies.
WHile your friends condition is way more extreme than so many others who suffer food borne allergies, I can say that when we traveled with my DGD< whose allergy to dairy and egg made dining out complicated, we always felt safe in Disney. I wish you and your family a wonderful trip and hope that uu you share with us how you fared.
