Several SeaWorld Questions

We are planning our first trip to Sea World next May. We will be there for 1.5 days upon returning from a Disney cruise. Since I have never been I have a few questions

1. What is the best transport from Port Canaveral to our hotel? A rental car? A shuttle service? A town car rental? Companies you can recommend?

2. What are your thoughts on the best "on site" hotel? We are looking into Hilton Garden Inn Sea World - anyone stayed there? Opinions?

3. If we do not end up getting a rental car what is the best option to get to the airport (MCO) from the hotel?

4. What are your absolute must-dos at Sea World?

I can only speak intelligently about #4:

Our must do's:
Dolphin feeding, do this at park opening, since the dolphin interaction will be greater when they're still hungry in the morning.

Plan your day around the major shows. If done correctly, you can minimize unnecessary backtracking and zigzagging. Try and get seated for the shows at least 30 minutes prior to start time (45 minutes for the whale show), especially if you want to avoid the splash zone.

Our DD loved the Wild Arctic exhibit, so don't miss it. Try and plan to tour Wild Arctic before the Shamu show, not after, since most of the huge crowd from the stadium will head straight there afterward.

We have stayed at the Hilton GI. It was a very nice hotel, and you can walk to the park.

I think the rental car would be the best.
