Planning a short trip with my daughter who is 10 for 4-5 day. Last time we were there she was 4 and it was hot, she needed naps and we got rained out a few nights. Is it better to book myself thru Disney or is a travel agent better? If agent can anyone recommend one with Disney experience? Lastly CSR or CBB? It will just be the 2 of us on Girls Getaway what are some can't miss things for us to do? She is very petite for her age and only about 47 inches tall. Will that be an issue? Thanks in advance for your help!

Who you book through doesn't really matter. I book through Disney directly but an TA can get you the same discounts. I like "owning" my own reservation. Read up in the strategies board and the families board for ideas for the two of you.

As for your resort choices, it all depends on what theme you like better. Personally, I love Coranado Springs. And it the only moderate resort I stay at. While the Caribbean Beach pool looks awesome, I am not a beach/water fan so it doesn't factor for me personally. Also, the idea of so many internal stops sort of turns me off.

What not to miss is too personal. It depends on what you want to do. Her size isn't really an issue. Her height may restrict a few rides though.

You are sort of starting from scratch even though you have been previously. I suggest you read up here: http://**************.net/

and look at menus here: http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/menus/wdw/menus.shtml
