Hi all!

I just bought my brother a set of the original Tiki God glasses that they used to serve drinks in at the Poly and he asked me if I knew the recipe for the cocktail that used to be served in them...I don't :(( and need help?

I have heard that some CM's at the Tambu lounge still know how to make this so i am hopefull!

We used to go to Captain Cooks Hide-a-way and have one or two of these every night when we stayed at the Poly or Golf Resort and they were a FAV

Help please!!!

Put this on the Restaurants Board and I believe you will get a response---

Here is a very strong but good recipe. You will need Coconut rum, pineapple rum, mango rum, Pineapple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice. We here in Florida we call this drink a Crabtrap.

I usually add one shot each of rums, then add one or two shots each of juices. Mix and add to ice filled glass. These are so good!

A great website for theme park drinks is Party through the parks. I know you should find exactly what you are looking for there!

I sent it on to my brother and he wants to buy all the ingredients and make a batch while we are on vacation. I remember them being very potent when we had them before. I was happy to hear some of the bartenders still know how to make them. The walks back to the golf resort or even our rooms a the Poly were a test of concentration :)

If you are in Disney now/plan to go soon, you should be able to get the recipe from the bartender/server. We got a few recipes from places when we ate dinner at the place, I would think it would apply to drinks too

Those tiki mugs are cool. I think some rum and just about any fruit juice would taste great out of one of those.:earsboy:

I usually ask the bartender at the WL pool bar to make their (previous) signature drink - I think it's called a Salmon Run - I like that.

I've never had a Salmon Run. I will have to give that a try on our next visit. Another WL signature drink that they will still make on request is a Lumberjack. That's what we usually get.

I get the feeling they really like it when a guest asks for one of the signature drinks. They don't seem too happy about those generic drink menus.

at the Tambu could remember the recipe and pass it along.

My brother made the recipe posted and although he said it was good and knocked him for a loop, it wasn't quite right :(

It was probably missing the grenadine syrup - would make the drink red and sweeter, plus extra flavoring.
