Exactly how is this calculated. Every month does not have the same number of days in it and reservations are made everyday. So, the question is, is it x number of days out for both windows. How do you know when it is first day to call.

Holding is easy, they say 60 days.

11 months from your check out date. You do not count the days just use the date from 11 months, if it falls on a date that one month does not have then you go to the next day which would only happen at the end of the month so you would go to the 1st. the same holds true for 7 months.

I just asked this same question not a week ago. Caskbill suggested I do the tutorial on his program, I did that today and it was fantastic! You can determine when to call, day by day.

Yeah!!!

Try downloading his program and then you'll know when to book.

Sherri :)

Can you post caskbill's sight? The search function is down.

I was just coming here to ask this very same question you mind reader you! :earsgirl:

poohnpiglet3 -- Are you referring to banking deadlines? I have the program and can't find anything on booking windows.

The booking windows for 7 and 11 months are shown on the vacation report

Yeah, the vacation report function is what you need to do. That's where I got stuck without having done the tutorial (I did some of it, but not all of it at that point, since we didn't own yet, and, well, we still don't, but we have a contract now going through ROFR.)

Glad someone was able to find it for you - I was bummed to see that the search funtion was down, too.

Sherri :)

poohnpiglet3 -- I read the tutorial and missed it....then again my wife is amazed I see the stop lights when I drive.

LOL... what yellow light? haha

I did the tutorial one time earlier, but stopped after I thought I knew the basics and could figure out the rest on my own... perhaps I'm too much like a man for my own good, ROFLMAO!

It took me at least an hour to go through the tutorial, of course, that was between watching 2 two-year-olds! Got it figured out, now I just have to make some decisions on when to go! ARGH!

Sherri :)

Along the same lines, when people say they book, one day at a time, how would it work. For instance, 11 months out, we're gonna book at our home resort, BCV, but we really want a Grand Villa at OKW. OK, let's say we want July 15-20 next year. On August 20 I call, and make my July 15-20 reservation at BCV (which probably won't be a problem). So now, when the 11 month window opens (December, do I call on the 16th (for July 15, 2005) and on the 17th (for July 16, 2005), etc.???

(Hope that makes sense...)
