So excited, DD age 5 says she wants to do Seven Dwarves Mining train. This is exciting because last year she rode Splash Mt. and Thunder and said not again until she is 16, haha! Anyway, to ensure we get FP's, on the 60 day booking window, if I go online at 7 am., will I have a good chance of securing them? How aggressive do I have to get? 6 am? Thanks!

If you log on at 7 when the fastpass window opens, you should be good. It depends on the time if year, but it's always best to get the in demand fastpasses first, no matter what day they fall on your trip. I've never had an issue getting a FP for 7DMT.

Are you saying that the fast pass booking window opens at 6:00 a.m. your local time in your time zone, but you are not going to get on until 7:00 a.m.? Seems like the others assume you are asking about being on the computer an hour before the booking opens. There is no reason to be on an hour before the booking, but I would be on when the window opens in your time zone. You should not have trouble getting FP for 7DMT if you are there when the window opens, but for 7DMT, FEA, or Pandora, I would not wait an hour. Everything else, you should be fine. Even getting there right when our booking window opens, I have had to take what we could get time wise for 7DMT and FEA- and did not have a choice of options.

Well depends on how many people you're trying to get FP+ for and what your dates are.
If you're going during a busy time and looking for a higher number of FP+ to ride it then it will be more difficult to get.
If 7DMT is a priority then make that the first FP+ you look for when your window opens and be flexible with what days you are going to MK.

You also might look into whether Early Morning Magic is offered during your stay. I know it costs extra, but we managed nine rides before park opening. I don't know whether it's a good overall value, but my kids loved it and if 7DMT is a priority, it might be worth it for you. Maybe just you and your daughter could go and meet up with the rest of your group later.

The day we plan on going is EMH for MK anyway. So that might not be needed? Good suggestion though. It is just DD and I going to MK. DH is sitting the day out. He does not want to do MK boo hoo!

EMH allows everyone from the resorts in early. It'll still be sort of crowded. EMM is just a few hundred people, if that, but they rarely (never?) occur on days where there are EMH, so it doesn't sound like it fits your schedule. Morning EMH's are usually pretty good about being less crowded than the night ones, but there will still be a lot of people there.

If you decide to switch things around, EMM is an extra 70 per person, but it was worth it to us that day because it was a truly unique MK experience. And boo to your husband -- I don't like crowds or rides, but it's a fun day to just watch.

Good luck and have a great time.

You're close, EMM will in fact never be on an MK EMH morning. :thumbsup2

We are in Vermont so does the booking start at 6 or 7? I will book whenever it opens. Thanks!
