On Tuesday, while at MK, we used Rider Swap. However, instead of being given the pass at the FP+ entrance, we were given a green lanyard. Once we reached the place where FP+ typically enter the ride/loadig line, we were given the pass, BUT were put into line to the right with the regular line people(about 25 people back), while everybody else was sent to the left and were loaded more quickly in a line of only FP+ people

The split lines to the left and right after the fast pass/standby merge are to separate odd and even numbered groups unless something has changed recently. They do this to prevent vehicles leaving with empty seats as the odd groups are required to share a row with another party.

Yep. As mentioned above...there's no FP and "regular people" line. Once the FP line comes into the mine vault and is merged with the normal line, then riders are put into two different lines, even line and odd line. That way it makes it easy for the CM to fill every seat completely at a quicker rate. I believe the right line is even and the left line is odd.
