Seven Dwarfs Mine Train : Opening May 28

I can't see why there wouldn't be any soft openings. Since he said Fully open May 28.

Almost certain there will be soft openings before that. Also multiple media members said show scenes weren't fully synced yet so this later opening was kind of expected.

Gosh, I love the DIS. With the announcement of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opening, I was able to go onto FP+ and schedule for 6/7 & 6/9.

Well ... dang. We leave on the 24th. I was hoping that we'd be able to catch the ride fully open, but I guess we'll have to budget some time to hang around the edges of Fantasyland hoping to snag a ride during soft opening.

I tried for all of our dates in June and booked..hoping I can get it on rope drop!!

It doesn't show up at all for a fast pass option for me right now. Does that mean it's booked up?

Well today was a mess with trying to get a fast pass for the Mine Train. I tried for two hours and even called Disney. They said the computer would except any changes for our reservations. When I finally got through the fast passes where gone. I like the new system, but this is crazy.

Well when 50,000 FPs were gone within hours of the announcement I can understand how the system may not work well for that.

I don't know, but I would try again-- I just booked may 28 and 29 and all times were available.

I'm not sure that they're all booked try again. I just got FPs for June for a couple days and all the times were open to pick from.

I did read on here where someone said Disney reported already over 50,000 people booked fastpasses within a few hours of the announcement day. Hopefully if those numbers are correct it's spread out over a full 60 day period or however far in advance someone can book past the opening day.

I got 5 fast passes for it on opening day and the following day. Not super early in the morning like I hoped, so still will probably rush there for stand by on opening day, but early afternoon. So either not many have booked right around when the ride debuts, or their giving out a ton of fastpasses.

Hopefully they work out the kinks in the new additional FP+ system. Because I went to the parks yesterday and today, nearly 1 week after first adding the extra fastpasses, and the FP lines were pretty long for most of the rides. I think that's even making the standby lines quite a bit longer as well right now. But don't know how they'd fix that. I like being able to get additional FP, but idk at the expense of making all the standby lines even longer

Btw, to those wanting to book FP's for Mine Train, it has to be done through the computer or through the non mobile website on your phone. Can't be done through the app yet.

Just booked it thru the app. Got 3 FP+ for our mid-late June trip. LOTS of times available.
