Hi,

Yesterday on Ebay I saw that there is a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Popcorn holder being sold in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. I'm assuming that it is currently being sold because it was the first time I've searched Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in awhile and I hadn't seen it before. I was wondering if any of you have been recently and seen them? I'm curious to know how much they cost? I'm sure they are more than some because it rocks back and forth like on the ride and the wheels work. If any of you know anything about it, please let me know. Hopefully I can get there soon, before they stop selling them. Thanks!

I've seen a few photos posted on various twitter and Facebook sites, but none listed a price. They indicated that the buckets debuted recently, but with no indication how long they'll last. One post said they were widely available in the Magic Kingdom. I would guess they cost about the normal price for a premiums popcorn bucket (around $12.50 or so).

I ended up contacting a couple of the ebay sellers. They said the cost at Magic Kingdom is $21, more expensive than other popcorn buckets. They also said they heard they will be releasing them in different colors, but didn't know how often. From what I understand, they are extremely rare. In fact, one of the sellers said their mother got it one day and then went back to the park a few days later and no one acted like they knew what she was talking about. Hopefully I'll be able to find one soon. We'll see..

Wow! I'm an AP local--I should buy a bunch of these and sell them on eBay too!

Yeah I know! Lol, I'm also an AP holder. I have a couple of hours away in north Fl though. We are able to go fairly often, not as much I would like, lol. They're are literally less than a handful of them on ebay. I don't know if it's actually true that they are releasing them in different colors. That's just what the person was told. It just makes me wonder because they got one and then when they went back nobody acted like they knew what they were talking about. It's possible that my sister could be going this weekend, and if she does she's going to look and get one for me. If she can find one, lol. So we'll see what happens. I'll let you know if we're successful.

i was at magic kingdom last week and saw the mine tray popcorn holder on 1/13. if you enter the mk on the left side, it was at that popcorn cart right as you walk in. i had been there several days and had not noticed it being there. it was a dark orange/brownish color. they do have regular popcorn buckets of the 7 dwarfs out now too.

Thanks for the info! I had heard that they have been found at the front of the park. I didn't know they have regular buckets as well.

I just saw the Disney Food Blog article:) My sister was at Magic Kingdom today and she was able to get one for me! She just got the cart. I would still like to get the regular bucket before they switch them out again. She said those seemed more readily available though.

Either the price dropped after they initially released them (kind of like the Mickey Pants Kitchen Sink sundae did at WDW) or the eBay'er wasn't entirely honest. The Food Blog and another poster on a different popcorn thread both indicated the bucket was around $12 ($12.50).
