Darwinsrule:
Thank you so much for posting. I take pictures of many of our dishes (drives my teenagers crazy). Because of this, I have to say that the portion sizes do look smaller than when we last cruised in '08. Frankly, that could be a real good thing... some in the family would not be able to finish their plates. But for someone with a larger appetite, I have to ask: was it still a "piece of cake" (no pun intended) to ask for seconds?

The portions seemed to be smaller than last year on the Wonder. The chicken breasts were either from the smallest chickens they could find or they cut them in 1/2 or more to stretch out how many people they could serve. They seemed to really cut back on the sides dishes more than anything. If you look at some of the pictures you can see that some of the meals only came with 2 or 3 carrots as an example.

Only thing I was tempted to ask for more of were the beef ribs on pirate night, but didn't. I did ask for two desserts the last night, and so did my wife. Our servers had no problem on it whatsoever. We had a couple of requests for our girls (3 and 7) and again no issues.

The serving sizes are smaller, but this may be good for those that are not big eaters and may help to cut down on waste. For me I have an appetite of a dinosaur and so does my 5yr old who only orders from the adult menu, I never hesitate to order whatever I want. I just make sure that I do it at the time the waiter takes or order, so that they don’t have to run back and forth to the kitchen. Thanks for taking time to take the food pics could you tell me what you thought of the taste and quality of the food. I love DCL’s Sea bass and that size portion seemed very small. If I order that it would have to be with the steak I guess I would make my own version of surf and turf lol...
