Setting up " My Day" in the App

We arrive at Disney this Sunday, and I am trying to practice setting up my day with (for example) Slinky Dog being at top and I click "start now" then choose my date" then pick my party and "continue" choose "slinky dog" continue, the continue through the next few screen, the hit "view my day", then go to tip board and EVERY ride is listed. Not just SD. What am I doing wrong? I have watched youtube videos and I do exactly what they are. Thanks for any info.

I believe you can't actually make it work until it's actually the day of, so after midnight on the day you're going.

It would be nice if they would allow pinning rides without going through all that stupid selection rigmarole, but I'm sure they don't because they're trying to push the bad free Genie on people.

I have a related side question. I was there last week and I was able to set up my day for the park I had a reservation for. But when hopping I could not pick stuff from the second park, even after hopping. Is there any way to do that?

This really bugged me also. Hopefully something they'll address with an update.

Every ride will be listed but Slinky should be at the top of the list.
