OK, so we are going to Universal next summer, and also planned to visit Sea World and Busch Tampa. In the past we have bought the premium Sesame Place passes which get you in free to all the Busch parks for the whole year. I planned to do so again, and we will also need an SP passport for DD as they start needing them at age 1.
Yesterday I checked the price for 2010 SP passports, and I was pretty PO'ed to find that they went up - WAY, WAY UP - since the 2009 season (which we didn't buy, but I kept tabs on them). The premium ones went from $149 (or thereabouts) to $189!!
I figured out we don't need to get DD a premium pass since she will get in free to Busch Gardens and Sea World, so I figured we could save some money by getting her the cheapest pass for SP.
Then today I went back to the SP website to see what the cheapest pass cost, so I could start figuring it out...and I saw a "Promotions" link. This brought me to the following welcome news, that they are discounting the passes to celebrate SP's 30th anniversary! Woohoo! It's good from November 27 through March 1 purchases, and it CANNOT be used with the monthly E-Z Pay installment plan, but that's totally cool...since we need four passes we can just budget for one each month.
