Service Report...I Am Never Disappointed with Food!!

Since I can never be negative about food, I thought I would write a quick report about SERVICE!!!

Just got back...there for the Half Marathon!! MY FIRST!! YEAH ME!!

Anyway, night one....Flying Fish.
I love this place. Love the food. We all got different things.
We were a party of 6. How is that possible?
I got the Special and the fish was dry. Bummer. I still ate it all. Remember, not picky about food. But worse yet...
The service was TERRIBLE!! Seated within 15 minutes (right on time for our ADR actually) and it took 25 minutes to get drinks. SAY WHAT??? We were seated in the service area which didn't help...I was okay with it as I am not a picky person by nature but others in my party didn't like it. We skipped dessert here because the service was so bad. Food out at different times, drinks all messed up, etc....

First Morning...Crystal Palace. GREAT service. Fast, efficient waitress. Brought us to go coffee and all. Everything we needed. The food and characters were pretty great too!! Seated within 5 minutes of our ADR.

Night Two...Wolfgang Puck Cafe. WONDERFUL SERVICE!!! Seated immediately.
Fast and friendly!! Ordered bottles of wine, apps, sushi, special instructions, etc...all was WONDERFUL!!

Night Three...Victoria and Alberts...what can you say?
A stellar experience all around. Perfect service...just perfect.

Night Four...well, afternoon. Nine Dragons. SUPER fast service...almost too fast. We had someone join us after we had all ordered and she still got her food with us in lightning fast time. Food was okay, nothing great.

Later this night, we went to T-Rex and sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and dinner. The bar staff was super friendly and attentive even though they were SUPER busy!! LOVE THEM!! Everyone was talkative and concerned we had what we needed. The food was pretty good too.

All in all a great trip. I will answer any questions!!

I really feel that service is hit or miss everywhere EXCEPT Victoria and Albert's. There are SO many variable. And I have had good service at place that others SWEAR is terrible and vice versa. Like I have never had a good experience at Chefs de France...3 times eating there and always bad service. But I have heard others report the contrary. In addition, we had great service once before at Flying Fish...who knows....But, 5 times at V&A, always FANTASTIC....ugh, can't believe I won't be going there on my May trip....entertaining others who wouldn't appreciate it....
