We have been to WDW several times and took DD SD for the 1st time and it went pretty well with a few hiccups here and there trying to use the DAS card having SD with us.

We have never been to DL and are trying to find info on how they handle SD at the different attractions where he can't ride.
Do they have kennel at each ride or share one with other attractions in area or how have they been handling this?

Before our last trip to WDW you all were so helpful and things went well.
Hoping for the same this Nov

Thanks, Coachyo

I don't know about all the rides but I do know that there is a kennel right at the boarding area in Space Mountain.

Aldora, is it right out in the open?
There was one like that in WDW at StarWars it was out in public where everyone could see hiim and many very near him and when we went to pick him up the CM wasn't very nice and made a rude comment about him and being a service dog and that he wasn't very well behaved. We were shocked and very apologetic about it. Once we went picked him up some other people told us that people were messing with him and making noises and faces and he started barking and was upset. Needless to say thankfully that was only place it was out like that, the 7 Dwarfs Mine ride was close but not near as bad.

If it's too easy to mess with him we'll have to rethink that ride.

Thanks for the info, anyone else?

Thanks,YO

If you have never been on DL's Space Mountain, this might not make too much sense but I will post two pics of the loading dock at Space. The first is a view of the loading dock, in the second one I have added a yellow square to show where the kennel is located and a red circle to show the CM location. All of this is to the best of my memory! This is not my picture btw, just the best one of the area that I could find. The kennel is tucked a bit back near the loading area. Most people will walk in front of the kennel to get to their loading lane and when we have asked to wait to ride in the front seats, we have been directed to walk behind the kennel to pass by instead of in front. There is a CM nearby so I would hope that the CM would stop anyone from messing with the service animal.

Alford,
Thank you very much for those pictures.
We will have to really prepare for that one. There was a CM with him before too and she wasn't very good.
All the other CM were pretty good once we got to the kennel.

Thanks, CoachYO

Yes, they're mostly out in the open. No, CMs don't usually stay with the dog. They'll let you use rider swap for rides with height limits so that you can take turns waiting with the dog. I wouldn't trust other park guests not to stick fingers in the kennel or otherwise mess with an unsupervised kennel.
