Service at DVC resorts

I am sure this has been asked before but how is the service at DVC resorts compared to the other Disney Resorts?

I ask because I just read another thread about BCV and people had a few complaints about houskeeping, though they did say it wasn't anything that would ruin their trip.

If, like myself you have yet to actually stay at a DVC resort choose, who cares you are at Disney.

If you did have any problems, and don't mind, please list them so that we know what to expect. Thanks.

THis might be dependant on WHICH DVC resort you are talking about. At OKW we have always had better than average service! THe only WDW resort we had any problems at all with was Dixie Landings back about 10 years ago.

I would have taken the option of "I've never stayed at other Disney Resorts".

Otherwise, who cares you are at Disney. The service is exceptional anywhere in Disney and the occasional errors don't bother me.

I voted "about the same"... that is when mousekeeping actually does the cleaning. In between scheduled cleanings, I would definately rate ourselves well below Disney standards.

Gee...I hope we're not supposed to count ourselves in this poll.

I voted about the same. I could also have voted who cares, we're in Disney. I am usually just so happy to be there that little problems don't bother me.

I think housekeeping was the wrong word. I should have left it at general maintenance seeing as we don't actually get daily housekeeping.

I also voted "about the same".
One thing that must be remembered about housekeeping at DVC vs the regular resorts- The DVC resorts have a kitchen, with glasses, plates, a fridge, etc...
Cleaning those items is MUCH more subject to critisism than than two beds and a commode.
