Seriously weird concern!

Well, well, well, Mel...You have certainly found the right crowd if you are one fry short of a Happy Meal!

Personally, my greatest fear/challenge/terror/nightmare at DL is that...ready...I have to whisper...

MY IN-LAWS MIGHT SHOW UP!!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
:
:lmao: I've actually had that nightmare! err..dream!

And just to torture Ohana and eatmypixiedust...:clown: :clown: :clown: :clown:
:

Behave! Don't make me call your MIL!

If any of you are short a fry or two, I have a huge stash of them in various places of my van (carseat crevices, under the seats, etc.). Come on over and take as many as you like!

:rotfl2: Dont you even remotely worry about your fear. I have one that tops it and I am not even sure WHY this happens or HOW it happens its just really rediculous...

A family friend of my family has a fear of any type of Carnival music... do do do do da da do do do do

Every time she hears this music *I cant blieve im gonna say this* she gets the runs. She has to find the nearest bathroom. Its one of those things we bug her about majorly. So having a fear of faces on cars planes etc isnt so bad.

For me I have to agree with some of the others.... CLOWNS oh man! :crazy2: :scared: Im freaked out of those things. I especially hate it when your at a carnival or something and one comes up and tries to hug you and makes you animal balloons.

This board is like a laugh factory for me tonight. That is hysterical.:lmao:

I don't like Ronald Mc Donald much either.....when I see his face it does not make me want to 'put a smile on!' :crazy2: Oh and mystic, that whole carnival music thing is freakin hilarious!

:lmao: Yeah me either... but there was one time he put a smile on my face though. :) I was a typical immature 17 year old at the time and it was during a local parade in town. I was sitting on the side of the road with a bubble tea drink. Its this really gross drink that has pearls on the bottom. Well I just happened to be drinking it with a straw, and when Ronalds float came past I sucked up the pearls to stick on the end of the straw, and when Ronald passed and smacked his cheek and looked around to see where the pearl came from and saw me laughing my butt off, I finally felt revenge from all those years of clownish torment. I feel really really bad now but I still laugh.

I thought that he may stop waving at everyone and turn around and give me the finger. :lmao:

Ok, nothing really to say to all of this but :lmao: :cool1: :rotfl2: :rotfl::clown: :moped: :drive:

Hmm....I guess that's another use for those tapiocas from boba drinks! :rotfl:

This reminds me of when DS (2 1/2 at the time) met TweedleDee and Dum. Oh man, he hated them. I have never seen him so scared in all his life. He put both arms straight out in front of him with both hands open wide waving in panic and yelling, "Go away, stop there, Go away, don't come over here"!!! Mind you, this is in the middle of Goofy's kitchen and DS is standing on the chair. Yup, he made a nice little scene. :rotfl2: Those guys are freaky looking for little ones!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww poor little guy. But thats funny too though. I guess some kids would be freaked out of characters... check out this video its a little kid who freaks out over poor sweet eeyore.

I think its totally normal for kids to feel this way and at times I can see why adults do too.

I know, I felt bad at first but then it was so funny. He has never been scared of any character. It's something about their big, hard, round head! He still says he doesn't want to see them when we go back!:lmao: He totally remembers!

So, you're pretty much NOT a Jay Jay The Jetplain fan, huh? Or Thomas?

Jay Jay and those fleshy faces. *shudder*

OK Jay Jay is just CREEPY!!!! I think it's the real looking face. Thomas is just painted on.
As for the other question, They have the cars pre-show at DCA. Its not much just drive out the 2 cars. Should be on the calendar.

When I was about 2 or 3 yrs old my dad rented a Santa costume to surprise my sister and I. They had us stand at the front door and he rang the doorbell. Hahaha :rotfl: Anyway, once I saw him I freaked out and screamed and cried my head off!! My dad had to pull off the fake beard to show that it was just him. LOL!

Yesssss, I need to get in on this action. I am absolutely TERRIFIED of mascots of any kind and yet disneyland is my favorite place in the world. In highschool I was actually asked to help my guy friend put on the mascot suit, and I didn't want anyone to know how afraid I was of them so I agreed. As soon as the head came on I started to scream hysterically and ran from the room and then it was a big joke and he chased me around the school.

I also went to a local college a few years back where they had a huge owl mascot who happened to find me and then I screamed and started to run and then he thought it was funny and started to chase me with a few of my friends.

But I handle the characters at Disneyland fairly well, I just take pictures from a distance and there are enough kids there that the characters don't actually approach me.

I know a kid who is terrified by Chuckie Cheese yet his parents have had his last 2 birthdays there! The poor boys runs to the bathroom at the times Chuckie comes out to sing happy birthday :scared1: .

When youngest DS was 5, local grocery store had a carnival days type event. They had clowns wandering the store, offering to do balloon animals.
One approached DS and he frowned at the clown shooing him away "No, we can't help you. We don't have any money. Go away!" . The clown looked very puzzled and kept showing him the balloons and DS kept backing away and yelling "I said, we don't have any money!"

DH and I nearly fell on the floor laughing.
:rotfl2:

DS (now 10) still does not like clowns.
