Seriously weird concern!

Ok, I can't believe I'm about to embarass myself like this, but whatever...

I have this ridiculous fear of... *deep breath* ...animated cars/trucks/airplanes (or any other mode of transportation) that have faces. So yeah, anything to do with Cars, freaks me right out!

Ok, I can hear you all laughing at me!

My question is, are they really pushing Cars at DL right now since it's just recently been released on DVD or will I be able to walk 10ft w/out having a mental breakdown?

Hey..don't worry about it. I can't stand clowns, they scare me. Especially when they smile !
Last time we were there, there was a Cars parade in DCA - I'm not sure if this was a scheduled thing. I can't think of anything else off hand that would fit the description.

Just so you know AskTheChief is always doing something awnry(mocking you). We do love her around here though. She has become my special little trouble maker even if she needs to go back to school to spell PLANE!

Also, welcome to the DL Dis board. I notice you are new and it seems you will effortlessly fit right in here. We are a bunch of crazy loonies. All of us have our quirky fears. I'm afraid of my sons bozo the clown punching bag thing that stands up and scares the BLEEP out of me everytime I see it. Also, just to make you feel better I will reveal this too. I hate having fingers in between my toes. I can't explain it further it just freaks me out. (have a field day with this one Chief!) I've posted this on the "What are your secrets" thread on the community board. Sounds like your Cars fear would fit in good over there too.

Don't despair, when you hear the music for cars back in the Paradise Pier area run as fast as you can. That's the only place you should encounter the scary automobiles.

By the way as Jay Jay is kinda strange but I love him anyway.

As for how deep this fear of mine goes: eatmypixiedust's little signature image is causing a slight anxiety attack! <--- Ok, so it's not thaaaaaaaaaaaaaat bad! But I did seriously cringe over it.

I think you can safely avoid the Cars meet and greet. You can ask a cast member when entering DCA if, when , where they will be present.. just avoid that area during that time.

Would a ladybug face on a ride vehicle make you creep out too? Avoid the Flik's Fun Fair area. (Lady Bug Boogie) Even I don't like those. I just avoid looking at it.. but my kids are older so not a probelm. We just take a very short walk thru and on our way again.
