A dumb question, really, but for those of you who like to scrapbook...

I am wondering what kinds of creative titles you have come up with for your pages from the Disney Cruise...?

Naturally, with over 500 photos from our last cruise, we needed a whole album just for our cruise alone (all 12 pounds of it)...

Going back this year, I am looking for different titles and out of ideas... Last year's title page read "Cruise to a different state of mind..."

Any other ideas??? would be most appreciated...

Thanks,
Anne

hello, we went on a cruise also, and naturally like youself, God only knows how many pictures with a nice video to add. lol, but anyways, my mother is REALLY into scrapbooking, infact she is a Creative Memmories consultant, and she loves it. in case you dont know what that is, it is a buisness of, pretty much scraping to the extreme! anyways, i will leave you her email address and im sure she will have not trouble helping you, and maybe email you some scrapbooking i deas and upload some creative pages as well. let me give you some hints tho:

one, this is YOUR book, so there should be alot of personal things in it, "INSIDE" ideas, i guess you could call them. so dont try and think along the lines of, what kind of "Catchy" headliners can i come up with, but rather, along the lines of, ok, what did we do THIS day/week, whatever. what was funny, what was a classic moment, etc. let it be your own. cool? right on, have fun and good luck!

just be sure to mention that i gave you that, and tell her that your from the DISboards.

I completed a 12x12 album of our 7 day cruise in August 2002, and another 12x12 album of our 7 day cruise in August 2003. We are going again this August. I am also a Crative Memories Consultant. I have found the cruise albums to be the easiet of all albums, as there are so many colors, characters, etc.!!! As far as titles.....I'm too tired to go downstairs to get the albums right now, but I'll get back to you tomorrow!!! I Son't emphasize titles, but have used several.......

Another Creative Memories consultant here! :D But I haven't done a cruise album yet...this will be our first family cruise! Just be sure to journal...tell the story of your cruise...all the funny, enjoyable, special, silly, crazy things that happened on your vacation that only you know and only you will remember unless you write it down!

My only "catchy" phrase, on the last page of my cruise photos along with a picture of my daughter trying to cheer up my neice who didn't want to get off the ship is a post card of Minnie in cruise-wear waving (bought on the ship) and I wrote the title "Sea you real soon!"

Cute huh, thought it up myself! (okay, a little corny I guess)...

Callisa, I like it! Hope you don't mind if I use it too!? I have yet to get my scrapping started from our March cruise!

My favorite picture and saying to go with it was my DH in a picture on the ship with Cinderella. The caption read...."Prince Charming" with Cinderella. It is such a cute picture. DH loves those "Kodak" moments, especially with the princesses.

I, too, am a seasoned scrapbooker...I guess I should have mentioned that...

And while I do a lot of journaling, as a few of you recommended, I to like those catchy titles to go on the page...

Your ideas so far have been great!!! Keep 'em coming!!!

Thanks, Anne

P.S. Only 2 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only done one album so far, our 2001 Magic eastern cruise.
My opening page has the post card of the castle at night in the upper left corner with a "bridge" of pixie dust to the ship in the water. Very pretty. That post card is in the center of the page with this opening title that I created: "From the castle to the ship--with a little pixie dust---it turns into 'Disney Magic' "
As far as titles on the other pages (which I have 72! ) I just put at the top whatever the page is about: for instance:St Thomas, Workout Room, Massage Treatment Room, shopping, Paradise, Disney Dreams, Tropical Night, Remembering some of our favorite places,Time to say our final goodbye, etc. My journaling is when I get creative with my words, & all that is if I were telling someone about the experience. Hope this helps a little!

Hi all....another Creative Memories consultant here. I just had the 7x7 Disney album imprinted with my kid's names and then lovin' that Disney magic! It came out really cute and they can use it as a autograph book/scrapbook!

And yet another CM consultant here..... I'm glad there are more of us out there. I posted a few weeks ago about the new CM Disney 7X7 album which I think it great for kids, autographs, etc. (Definitely not good for ALL of our family cruise pictures. ) And I got negative vibes on the CM stuff. So thanks for making me feel better. I just started a year ago and have so much fun with it. I think Creative Memories help to keep the projects manageable and simple so us busy moms can get it done! Matter of fact, I'm having friends over to scrap tonight. We sailed in May and I still haven't done our cruise album so keep those catchy phrases coming. Oh and the new Disney diecuts come with some neat ideas in the book too. Have fun scrapping!

HMMM....yet another CM consultant....I haven't done any cruises...yet. Our first is comming up in September....so I am still in the thought process of albums to come. I to like some catchy phrases...but not on every page....I tend to take WAY to many pics. But I have been thinking of a title page and what to do for it....Our trip is part of our youngest daughters wish trip...I in some way I want to incorprate that into our first page. Love the ideas....

I am not really big on catchy phrases yet but I do love the new CM disney 7x7 album. Just bought one a couple weeks ago.

How about: A change of Sea-nery? Or Sea-nic Views?

A pirates life for me

It all started with a Mouse

Under the Sea

Ahoy Mickey (If you have Mickey in his sailor suit)

Depends on what pictures you have - I tend to do titles around the subject or where we are -

It's a small world afterall -

I don't know, I am just rambling now...

I'm also interested in the sayings you are using for you Cruise Scrapbook!! I'll be taking notes for when I do my cruise scrapbook for our 5/05 cruise!!!
