Hi,

Could anyone tell me please if we will be able to get a sandwich or something light to eat from the bar area when we arrive at lunchtime ? Was just thinking of a quick refuel after checking in (hopefully early) before we go in to the park . If this is not possible does anyone have any other suggestion as ds age 5 ( and his dad no doubt lol ! ) will need food. Me - I just want to find Micky asap

As it is our first trip I have decided that I had better make a plan

Also, what are the times that you can eat in Cafe Mickey - could we do say a late lunch ?

Hi - the bar area is closed during the day but you will have to pass through the Disney village to get to the parks where you can grab a sandwich at the deli or McDonalds....

Cafe Mickey is open at lunch time as is everywhere else in the Village

Otherwise there are loads of snack options when you get into the park.

Is it? We've been in there twice - mid afternoon and its been serving drinks and snacks so I assumed it was open from lunchtime onwards.

I think Id be tempted to go to the Village tho or even into the park and grab something from Mainstreet and soak up the atmosphere whilst eating

As of last November the SL bar was open at lunchtime and serving drink and snacks, so I really hope that is hasn't recently stopped doing this. The snacks were okay - nothing special, but not too bad a price and it was lovely and quiet. If there is nothing on the menu that appeals to you or, more likely, your DS, then I also agree with finding somewhere on Main St. Bear in mind that between 12-2 places in the park will be pretty busy, whereas the bar as SL is likely to be quiet - if that holds the same appeal to you as it does to me!!!

The SL bar was open at lunchtime the week before last when we were there. We had a hot drink there while waiting for our room key and the family near us were just finishing off a yummy looking hot snack.
