I have just logged onto the Disneyland Paris website and keyed in my booking quote to stay at Sequoia Lodge in December and was offered to upgrade to the Newport Bay Admiral's Club level for an extra 120E. Is this worth it or would it be better to stay at the the Sequoia Lodge. Does anyone know what advantage there is to staying in the Admirals Club level? Any feed back would be great thanks.:yay:

I haven't ever stayed on the Admiral Floor but of the two (at Christmas time) I'd stay at the Sequoia Lodge. The theming at SL is fabulous, especially at Christmas. So cosy and VERY Christmassy! Plus they have just refurbished all of their rooms whereas the NPB hasn't been done yet.

As you can see I've stayed at the NPB many times and the SL only once so it's not a case of bias towards the SL! We stayed at the SL last time we went and I just loved the decor and atmosphere for winter.

We've never stayed at the Newport but SL disappointed us big time when quite a few seem to have had a great time there so it's hard to give you any advice i am sorry :confused3

We have stayed in both and found the Sequoia lodge nicer. There are only a couple of benefits of admirals floor - there is a separate check in desk where queues are normally a bit shorter, you get one free basket of tea/coffee supplies and you don't pay to hire towels at the pool. In my opinion it would not be worth paying extra to stay at NPB over SL. :goodvibes

Thanks for that, after much researching SL was my preferred and first up gut choice particularly as we will be there when the Christmas Decorations are up and it will be very cold so the big fire place will be inviting. Now I just have to work out the time differences and book over the phone. Unfortunately we here in Australia can't book on line which is an absolute pain. Thanks again for the advice.:yay:

Just a thought but have you tried going through one of the European websites (Irish, English, etc) and booking online that way? I know some people on here have booked via other countries websites before to get special offers. (ie. someone from Ireland booked via the Danish website.)

You'll love the Sequoia and believe me the log fire will be very welcome as it will be FREEZING! But that's part of the Christmas charm for me. ;)

Guess what I just logged in using Australia as my country and it let me book, I am amazed I have tried several times before and it wouldn't let me, there must have been something wrong and they've fixed it which is great. I got a pretty good deal 6 nights for the price of 4 at Sequoia Lodge, mind you we won't be in the parks all that time, we will travel into Paris a couple of days but I wanted the extra time as my son is an avid photographer and wants to take lots of night time shots. Getting really excited now even though its five months away.:woohoo:

Another Aussie! :cool1:

We are booked to stay Admiral's floor at NBC in September... i'm already starting to wish i'd stuck with Sequioia Lodge the way alot of people on here seem to love it... :rolleyes1

Oh well, NBC it is for us :thumbsup2
