Sequoia Lodge - hairdryers

I think I know the answer to this but the brochure (in the "hotel facilities checklist") says that hairdryers are "available" at Sequoia lodge, whereas they are "available upon request" at Newport Bay. (Wow I really have looked at the small print!). I expect this is a mistake and they are "available on request". If this is the case could someone tell me how easy it is to hire/borrow one? Thanks:banana:

We stayed in a Montana Room at Sequoia Lodge at the start of April and there was a hairdryer above the sink in the bathroom area. It seemed quite new so maybe something recently installed.

We've had 3 rooms at SL in the lodges and the main building but never had a hairdryer in the room, so I assume it's on request.

We did have a hairdryer at the NPBC but I think that it;s standard on the Ad. Floor. :)

Thanks for the super quick reply! We are in a Montana room too so we'll probably take our chances and not pack one.

I have had 3 visits recently - December, February and this week - each time in a Montana Room in SL and each one has had a hairdryer installed over the basin. I think it is standard in a Montana Room.

We had a typical "hotel" hairdryer in the room - i.e. not enough power to blow-dry a bee!

They are not very strong. If you want to do any kind of straightening and styling with your brush or have longer hair I would recommend taking your own.
