We're now thinking about going to DLRP early for my birthday trip. Planning on maybe September? Whats it like about mid- Sept? Is it busy? Whats the weather like?

Hi,

Lovely sunny weather, and no queues in mid-September, midweek . My sis took her family in mid-September 06, they only had 2 days in the parks, and they did everything they wanted to do at least once, with their favourites 2 or 3 times over.

They were in t-shirts and crop trousers the whole time as well.

The Tarzan show was still on when they went too (it stops by October)

I'd agree that the weather should be nice and crowds low in September with the schools just starting a new term, I wouldn't expect too many children there.

I worked in dlrp for 4 years. the ideal period is really NOT during vacations if you dont have the choice the go during the weekdays. saturday and sunday you are sure to wait everywhere. The best season? Autumn Not to warm I would say between september and december.

We are going september this year 16th - 24th.

Having experianced july which was so so hot and so so so very busy,
and also late october which was extremley cold and still very very busy, hopefully this time we can have a bit of heat which no crowds

I'm thinking 15th-19th... I start back at uni on the 29th so I can't really go too near to then as we travel from Barnsley, and therefore need to allow a couple of days each side for rest and further travel!
