September Weight Loss Challenge!

I'm down another 3 lbs this week, which makes my total for the month 7/10. I didn't think I had a chance at making my goal for the month, but it looks like I might.
 
I'm the same weight this week as last week- still 2/5 for September. I hope to do better next week.

Hi just posting to update for me.

Last week I had no weigh in at WW but this week I was down 3.2 pounds!!!!:banana: :banana:

So I am now at 5/8! Only 3 more to go!

Only .5 for me this week. So I'm at 2/5. Just over a week to go. might have to cut out all the goodies on the DDP.
 
Been a little rough for a week but I'm back on track now. I'm down another 1.6 for a total of 3.2.

I am getting very frustrated now. I missed my regular WW meeting last week but went to another meeting and weighed the same. That was fine. Today I weighed myself at home and had gone up 2 pounds. That brings me up almost to where I started. It coudl be that my scale at home is different from the WW one. I am just feeling so down right now- I look at myself and think I'll just always weigh the same- maybe up 2 down 2 but never lose the 10- 15 that I really want to lose. I don't know what to do now. :confused3
I had thought that maybe I should stop WW for a week and try to just watch my food intake without writing down all of the points. I was eating a Special K breakfast today and the back of the box mentions the Special K weight loss plan. Eat 2 meals of cereal each day and have one regular meal. I thought I would try that for a week. Anyone have any ideas?

My scale is different from the WW one. It is usually at least 1-2 more. As far as missing regular meetings, I have had the same thing happen. I went on a different day and time and gained a pound. When I went back to my regualr one the next week I lost almost 3 pounds. I also try to get to the same scale for every weigh in, it just seems like it would be more accurate to me, even though they say the scales are checked..I still wait for the same scale. I see you are doing Flex, have you tried Core? Maybe that would work better for you. Also are you drinking lots and lots of water?

If you do the Special K cereal diet remember that a serving is either 3/4 cup or a cup (don't have a box right now) and using 1/2 cup skim milk. I'm not sure I could last on that small of an amount of cereal for 2 meals out of the day. I'm pretty sure you'll lose weight though! I was amazed when I first started WW and started to measure out serving sizes. I tried the Special K diet and it turns out I was probably eating 3 to 4 times as much cereal everyday...no wonders I could never lose on that diet.

This week our At-Work meeting is cancelled but I don't think I'll go to another place to weigh in. I agree it's best that I stick with the same scale each week.
I did try Core once but only lasted a couple of days. I had a hard time following it. Maybe I'll look at that again. I'm on my second day of the Special K diet and so far I've lost a lot of water......always running to the bathroom.
I have been measuring the amount of cereal I eat and only use a very small amount of milk. If I can do that for a week and then switch back to WW maybe it wil give me the jolt I need. But then when I get back on WW I probably will gain some back as I may be eating more. I'll have to wait and see. I think I probably should re-read my WW week one book and make sure I haven't gotten lax about how I am following the plan. I know I'm not good about drinking the water.
