My scale is different from the WW one. It is usually at least 1-2 more. As far as missing regular meetings, I have had the same thing happen. I went on a different day and time and gained a pound. When I went back to my regualr one the next week I lost almost 3 pounds. I also try to get to the same scale for every weigh in, it just seems like it would be more accurate to me, even though they say the scales are checked..I still wait for the same scale. I see you are doing Flex, have you tried Core? Maybe that would work better for you. Also are you drinking lots and lots of water?
If you do the Special K cereal diet remember that a serving is either 3/4 cup or a cup (don't have a box right now) and using 1/2 cup skim milk. I'm not sure I could last on that small of an amount of cereal for 2 meals out of the day. I'm pretty sure you'll lose weight though! I was amazed when I first started WW and started to measure out serving sizes. I tried the Special K diet and it turns out I was probably eating 3 to 4 times as much cereal everyday...no wonders I could never lose on that diet.
