I've noticed looking at the current weather in Orlando that it seems to have thunderstorms everyday. Is this what it is always like? I'm curious if someone could let me know how the weather effected their trip? Does it rain the entire day or just partially? We will be there Sept 16-24 and this is the first time we're going this time of year. Our last 2 trips were in Feb. and March and we had absolutely no rain.

Thanks,

We have done 3 in Sept. Didn't have too much trouble, it wil rain heavy and clear up quickly. Last year it rained one out of our 8 days for 3 hours.

Our first trip to WDW was mid-Sept 1998. It rained almost everyday but usually only for an hour or so. Luckily lots of rides/shows are inside.

Of course, that is when we got the Mickey Ponchos that we drag with us for each trip now!

One day, our socks and sneakers got so soaked, I got blisters.

Good luck!

We went Sept. 98 and it rained every single day -- multiple times. We also bought the ponchos and didn't let the rain get the best of us. The positive side of rain is that the parks are less crowded. We didn't let it slow us down and kept going every day. Our 4 year old also though it was cool to "play" in the rain. We brought his water shoes with and when it started raining, he'd change and splash in the puddles. Also the water parks don't close if it's raining.

We went Sept. 00 and it rained a couple of times. A very different experience.

September is still hurricane season so weather could be wet.

Enjoy your trip regardless of the weather.
