Hi

Not sure where to post this, so here goes. We are going late September (9/22) and I don't know what to expect. Have never been that time of year, done May, June, August, November, December and January. Will it still be horribly hot and humid? I am telling myself it will be and that I should prepare myself. Here at home it usually is in the 70's by then. So what can I expect, rain every day, heat and humidity? I have planned to return to hotel at some point each day for a swim and rest. As I hate heat and humidity, I must be nuts, but better to be in WDW then at home, I alway say.

Any other tips on how to keep my sanity?

Thanks! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc   :cheer2: :dance3: :dance3: :wave2: :wave2: :bounce: :bounce:

My last 2 trips were both in early October, and the weather was still pretty hot! Last year the humidity was horrible! I do remember one day the trip in 1995 that was cool and I needed a sweatshirt to be comfy. I would plan on hot weather, July aug and sept are the hottest months from what I have heard.

When we've gone in Sept, it's always been HOT and WET - Hot means over 90 degrees each day, wet means either very high humidity or rain. Several trips it rained for an hour each day in the afternoon (but it didn't cool off at all).

So plan for hot and wet, and you'll be safe!

If you're going later in the month, then things might be a bit better, as it gradually gets cooler as the month goes on, but this is relative, meaning it may be highs in the upper 80's at the end of the month instead of highs in the low 90's.

You could quite possibly come here during a nice cool spell, (yes we do have those here). I don't want to type this but, still hurricane season. Just be prepared.

We were there last year on 09/22, and daytime temps were mid-high 80's, nightime temps were low-mid 70's and probably no more humid than NYC. We kept a collapsible umbrella handy for quick showers. Fortunately, we missed the hurricanes. I think that as long as you still think summer weather, you'll be okay.

We will be there the sametime - and it's going to be beautiful. It's not going to be too hot or humid and it's not going to rain!!!!! LOL

I have been in Sept. before and if I recall it wasn't horrible and I can't deal with the heat. I've also been in Nov. and got a sunburn that you couldn't believe. So hopefully we will get lucky!

I second that! We are going on 9/29 and it will be gorgeous! Low humidity, nice balmy tropical temps, no rain, no hurricanes, just blissful weather. That's it!
I actually have no clue as this is our first trip to WDW but I have been to FL in the past and don't remember it being all that awful...but then again I may have just blocked it from my memory! :goodvibes

I plan on watching the weather websites closely and just pack as if it's still summer!

Last year we were there Oct 7-15th. So hot and humid it was unbelievable. My asthmatic ended up in the ER!!!! Friends of ours were there the week before and had rain every day so who knows. We are there this year Sept 21-29 so lets pray for lots of SUNSHINE and no humdity. We just had 1 week of straight rain here, so we deserve a nice vacation.
:sunny:

:wizard: OH GOSH now I am stressed....we arrive September 24th for the week...PLEASE NO HURRICANES! I AM SO EXCITED for this trip and will be SO disappointed. PRAY PRAY PRAY!!! :beach: pixiedust:
