So we are booked for October next year but I read in my passporter book at September is value season. Well, if its cheaper is it worth it to move my vacation up a month?! How is the weather during September?! Love all the input you can give! Thank you!

September is "value season" so therefore it's slightly cheaper and less crowded. However, the crowds in October are not that bad, and the weather is slightly cooler, especially if you go towards the end of October. October also has the Food and Wine Festival, so if you love food and wine then October might be perfect for you after all. Either way, fall is a great time to visit :thumbsup2

One of the reasons that September is value season is that it's also still hurricane season. Just sayin . . .:rolleyes1

I didnt realize that it gets busier in October then September. I guess it makes sense though. October has MNSSP and Food & Wine and September people are starting school back up and dont wanna go on vacation. How much busier is it though? Is there a noticeable difference in wait times for rides?

I also like October a little bit more because it is a little bit cooler!!!

This year will be our first year in September so I can't help much with the difference. Last year we went October 16-23 and I found the weather to be PERFECT! I was never too hot and actually wore jeans a few nights when it got cooler and we didn't get a single drop or rain (we may have gotten lucky there). Lines and crowds were manageable. I don't think we ever waited more than 20 mins for a ride. We walked onto ToT 7 times in one night and then walked over and waited 15 minutes for RNRC on one of DHS more crowded nights. Our only problem was Epcot because it was during Food and Wine Fest but even then it was only a real problem in WS. We leave in 16 days for our first September trip and I find myself worrying more about the heat of September than anything else.. so my best advice would be to keep your trip in October, follow recommended parks, and have a plan and you'll do A-OK! :thumbsup2
